Perfect upgrade for cutting!

Some comment said this blade cuts like cheese...it is quite susceptible because a knife is a knife, how can it make a huge difference?My wife always asks me to cut the fabric for her because she couldn't use a scissors to cut a straight line without fraying, and the rotary cutter she bought from a brand name was so hard to use. I used that rotary cutter to cut for her, but I had to use very forceful press to run through the line back and forth several times. I was wondering the rotary cutter was one of the worse inventions until I saw that comment.I bought this blade to try on my name brand cutter. Oh my God! I can't believe what I see and what I do! For those many years I suffered from this rotary cutter just because I did not use a good blade.I seldomly write comments on Amazon for the censorship Amazon applies. But this time I must write something for this blade because it really is a great product and can change the way we work and makes our life much easier. And I must let my fellow Amazonians know about it so they can benefit from it as well.

I was about ready to tear my hair out over rotary cutter replacement blades. I have bought Fiskars and Other brands in the value packages that are utterly worthless. Some of these even had good review recommendations. Sometimes these bargain blades do not work when they are brand new out of the package. They skip cuts, pull threads, and do not cut cleanly or go through layers. I would have to change blades often--sometimes only after one cut. I decided to splurge and try one of these. What a difference. I cut out pieces for an entire queen sized quilt and am still using the same blade to trim the blocks once sewn together. Still sharp and cuts cleanly. I was so pleased I ordered three more. I have no idea what manufacturing process makes the difference. When rotary cutters were first available on the market (yes I have been quilting that long) there were no "bad blades". I am a real person. No one solicited this review. Another review mentioned that this blade was not any different than any other. I disagree, but of course it depends on what blade this one was being compared to. I have a tin box full of rotary blades that I have replaced after only a few cuts. My expectation is that one blade should last through at least one quilt project.

These blades are head and shoulders above any other blade I’ve used. I use it mostly to cut fabric but I have cut other things with it because I really wanted to test the blade. The other blades 😉 only stood up for about 1/3 the duration of my at home testing. I’m still using the first of these blades after cutting on wood for two weeks and I just did some testing this morning and it cuts like it did right out of the package. Like I said HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE REST.

Sure helps to have fresh blades when quilting. Reasonable price too!

I used this blade for cutting fabrics only. Excellent quality, very sharp. Cuts through several layers of fabric ( 6 in total so far).

These blades last longer than the regular blades. I do lots of rotary cutting and wouldn't use any other kind.(side note: the delivery notification said the package was handed directly to the resident, but this wasn't true. I was not at home when it was delivered. It was on my doorstep when I returned, so perhaps it was mistakenly handed to a neighbor who then put it by my door? I couldn't find any place to report this.)

Yes, I like it. It's fit size on my Rotary Cutter. that will help cutter fabric much better.

Wish it was a multipack as I blunt them quickly

I was bit dubious about these blades as they are more expensive than ordinary ones but they are worth every penny. They last much longer as the makers claim. I'm a definite convert.

I haven't had it long enough to test the durability, but it certainly is lovely and sharp and seems good quality.

I haven't noticed that much difference to be honest. Maybe I'm just not pressing hard enough. It could be me. Let's see if it lasts longer than the cheaper blades.
