Wine color is definitely eggplant
This dress fit perfectly 5’8 and currently 220 at 35 weeks pregnant. I ordered an xl because I wanted it to be a little more flowy. There was a little extra fabric in the sleeves but it was so comfortable. Reading reviews I knew keeping it off the shoulder would be a pain and it was but looked so cute. The only negative was the color. I ordered the wine color and was expecting a burgundy but the dress was definitely purple. It turned out beautifully but just know that it’s a deep eggplant definitely not any red.

After a lot of hesitation and reading the other customer reviews, I decided to purchase this dress in both a small and a medium and I’m so glad I did. Prior to my pregnancy I typically wore small, sometimes medium and wasn’t sure what size to choose for this dress. I didn’t want a small to be too tight and a medium to look too oversized since that’s usually the issue I run into.I’m about 5’1 and was 168 lbs / 33 weeks pregnant at the time of my pictures. The small fit well but was somewhat tight around the bust (I used to be a 34C but I’ve sized up to a 36D). The medium was the one I decided to wear since the extra room in the bust was more comfortable. It didn’t look too oversized though the sleeves were a little long for my liking. Considering I’m in between sizes, it didn’t bother me. As for length, I always have to hem my dresses since I’m so short. I decided not to do that with this dress and was okay with just picking it up and walking. So short ladies, if you want a perfect fit, you may have to hem. I also decided on a white dress, and while the dress isn’t made with thin material, I still highly suggest wearing nude bra/undies underneath. The only reason I won’t give this dress five stars is because how annoying the cowl neck is. For the price and how often I intend to wear this dress, I was okay with the possibility that I would have to fiddle with the cowl often as other reviews suggested. Thankfully my husband and my photographer were great and helped me to adjust it as needed. If I were to do it all over again, I would maybe have considered pinning the cowl down or used some sort of fabric tape. If I wear the dress from here on out, I don’t plan on wearing it shoulders down. Overall, I’m satisfied and am very pleased with how soft and comfortable the material is.Summed up: if you’re in between sizes and aren’t sure of which to pick, utilize the free return option like I did and order the two you are deciding between! Personally, I sized up because that’s what I felt was best for me.

Very nice dress for the price!
I used this dress for my maternity photos. Overall very pretty and I got lots of compliments. I do agree that keeping the shoulder section down was difficult - impossible to do myself, but I had my husband wrangle the neckline for me. Material seemed a little thin, you could almost see my bra through it, but I think if I had gone up a size it wouldn't have been an issue. I was a size 16 pre pregnancy and I think the XL would have fit best, but they didn't have the color i wanted in that size, so I went with the L. The material is stretchy enough that it was fine!

Ultimately Worth It
I usually wear between a medium and a large when not pregnant, so I got a large in this dress to be safe. I am 5'7" and a large just brushes the floor--perfect length where I'm not worried about stepping on it, but it's definitely full length where you can't see my ankles or anything. My shoulder width is average, and it definitely fits over them just fine. The fabric has its pros and cons; it's incredibly comfy and I feel really great wearing it. It falls in a way that's much more flattering than most other maternity clothes I've tried on, so I feel really confident in it--and that's not something I can say often with how big my belly is getting in my third trimester. The con is that it's so stretchy that it doesn't stay down over the shoulders well. I have a hard time pulling it down right on my own, and then if I move my arms much, it slowly slides back up over my shoulders. I bought some dress/fabric tape and safety pins to help keep it down when I wear it to take some maternity photos though, and I feel like that should do the trick. If it doesn't, I'm not too worried actually. I thought from pictures in the other reviews that I would only want to wear it over-the-shoulder style, but it's actually really flattering as a cowl neck, too. Another bummer is that when worn over-the-shoulder, in the one spot that it gets stretched pretty thin--over the breasts--it's basically see through, even with a nude bra. That could be fixed by wearing a slip, though, so it's not a huge deal.Summary: the fabric is comfy and flattering, but you'll definitely need some dress tape/safety pins to make the over-the-shoulder style stay down. You'll also want to wear a slip underneath. Even though it's a little bit of a hassle, I love it and I think it's worth the price for sure. it's classy and elegant, and I can imagine that some dresses I'd pay twice as much for (or more) might still have some of the same struggles.

You won't regret it!
This dress is very beautiful. I brought the purple in small and it fits just right. I only tried on this dress n I'm loving the fit for my maternity shoot. My pregnancy weight was 150 and I'm usually a 8/10. I'm 33 weeks pregnant, my belly measures 45 cm, I'm 5ft 5inch and weighing 186lbs. My shoulders are medium broad and the length goes just below my ankles. The sleeves fit just fine. You could either wear it long or pull it up into 3/4 sleeve.Buy this dress you wont regret it, it's very soft. The only thing I knew I'd have a problem with is fixing the neck ofcourse as this was stated by other reviewers. But It can be fixed by yourself or a dressmaker by tacking it down before wearing. Problem solve. I also tried to just let it set like a ruffle round neck dress n it looks fine, but I prefer the off the shoulder look.To compliment the dress you could get a rose belt sash to put around your tummy. Will upload photos later
