works very well with easy cleanup strong zap which kills even big rats

Ordered four Rat zapper after some failures with my ordinary traps. Three zapper were placed at different places and loaded with some peanuts in each of them. I thought maybe we hade one or two mices in the house but after three nights seven hade been eliminated.One of the rat zappers were rebuilt to take 6 volts from an external transformer, skipping the batteries. Next step will be to make them communicate by Z-wave and leave a note on the phone when a mouse is catched. If someone have done this please consider to leave a review and describe how you solved it :-)

Amazingly simple to use with successful results. Have disposed of two chipmunks in under 24 hours of use right out of the delivery box.I used to think the chipmunk in the yard running around and looking cute was a sweet addition to our backyard. Until the Monday after a cold snap this spring, 2016, when our car wouldn't start. The repair cost for the tremendous damage to the intake valve, insulation foam, wires inside our vehicle's engine was $350.00. That cute chipmunk had built a nest and feasted on wiring.No more Mrs. Nice Guy. Ordered these traps right away after researching online what to do about pests like chipmunks and mice. As I found mice in our garage this spring too. A neighbor who let their cat roam the neighborhood, moved away last year, taking the cat who must have kept the rodent population down for us.Very pleased with how these work. Clean, quick, and not gross. I fill them with one peanut, 1 raisin, or a popcorn. Press the on/off switch, place them around where I have seen the pests. My husband empties them after the red light on top flashes. Then I refill them with dry snacks and start the process over again. My only complaint/question is why the directions on the box says a "green" light will flash when you switch it on. There is no green light on any of the trap boxes. Only one light, and it is red. It flashes once when I switch the box on. That is the only odd thing, it does not affect out the trap works...just bugs me that it clearly says a green light will turn on, but, there is no green light anywhere on the trap.

I bought a 4 pack and one by one they died in a couple days. I’m on my last one now 3 weeks later. Tried cleaning as instructed but they weren’t dirty, new batteries, no spark. The light comes on as if it’s ready to go but doesn’t zap anything. A lot of money for junk.
