BREAK FREE CLP-4 Cleaner Lubricant Preservative Squeeze Bottle, Pack of 2

This stuff is great for cleaning rifles & handguns. I believe this is the only cleaner that the US Marines use to clean their weapons. Just don’t getthe spray bottle, it’s too messy! I use this all the time.

It might be an Army thing, but the smell brings back memories. Don't be stupid, you're looking at it to clean your guns, and it definitely cleans guns. More than likely you bought this product because you served in the military.

I've stuck to Hoppes No. 9 for my whole life and decided to break out as I didn't like the yellow/orange discoloration of the No. 9 lube, as well as the smell just lingered for so long that it would give me a headache. (I like the smell but too long is too long.)Did some research on google, found nothing but good information about the BreakFree CLP-4, cleaned off all the old lube on my guns (haven't been shot since cleaning them as I just cleaned them yesterday after shooting so for whoever reads this in the future not even 24 hours apart.) and I can just absolutely tell by racking the slides on how good this CLP works as lube. As a cleaning agent I haven't figured that out yet, however as just pure lube it's like my guns slides are on crack. They slide so smooth and lightly it feels like I've been racking entirely different guns this whole time.If I remember, I will update this with the cleaning section after I use it to clean my guns after a range trip. So far, 5 stars!

So glad to find CLP made an even improved formula that’s military focused for extreme temperatures. I’ve upgraded from just CLP to this BreakFree CLP is all I’ll be using! I highly recommended it and it does everything in one item.

So, this is a solid product for sure. Cleans firearms quite well. My only concern is, as an oil/lubricant, it seems to evaporate rather quickly. I cleaned and oiled up my Canik the other day and I took the gun apart again to add an RMR to it. It seemed that all of the CLP had dissolved or just worn off. I know we just want a film layer, but I add a bit extra when it's the off-season, and I'm a bit worried that it won't last the idle time.
