Here is a lovely hand made linen bread bag in olive and plum. This beautiful bread bag, or sac à pain in French, is made from two colors linen, a dark plum color and an olive green tone. A perfect combination. In France we need them, we can't live without, the sac à pain. Every morning when we go to the bakery to get a freshly baked baguette, we bring the bread bag because at the bakery they don't have plastic or paper bags, the bread comes as it is. At home the sac à pain has its own place, hanging from a doorknob or somewhere in the air where cats and dogs are not able to touch it, it is part of our household and so I'm very happy to be able to offer my hand made linen bread bags here in the shop. It measures around 24.4 by 8.7 " / 62 x 22 cm and can easily hold two large pains... or many, many croissants! The linen is pre washed, the more you wash it, the softer and more beautiful it gets.
