EAS Recovery Protein Powder, Vanilla, 1.8 Pound

For the record, I'm 70, and I still work out an average of twice per week, mainly to try to maintain my upper body health. I run and sometimes still race long distance, and so, I really need to maintain my health to keep from shriveling up completely, don't I! This EAS product seems to get the job done for me: (1) taken right after a grueling workout (including sometimes around 100 push-ups), this product has me feeling less beat up pretty quickly. (2) I believe the HMB in this product does help conserve the health of my upper body muscles. My wife swears I've even grown some new muscles where I used to have them when I was junger, but that's hard to believe. One thing I know: I can still see improvement over time with the size of weights I can lift, and the number of reps and sets.

I mix this powder into water after working out. The scoop size is pretty big and it takes two scoops per serving. The taste is ok, definitely better than some other protein powders I've tasted. It was actually appetizing the first two or three times I used it, but now the artificial sweetener after-taste is kind-of gross. I try to drink it as fast as possible because of this. As far as results go, I definitely see results and do not feel nearly as fatigued the next day as opposed to when I do not drink this powder. I recommend it.

My husband uses this in connection with his workouts. He mixes a scoop of this with some coconut-almond milk and he loves it. Making a comparison to some other online, off-Amazon products sold by these health "gurus", this has basically the same nutrients but this is a fraction of the cost. Pay under $20 for EAS Recovery Protein or $70, $80, $90 for what others are trying to sell. It's pretty clear here.

I like the chocolate flavor and could not get it when I ordered. I got the vanilla but do not like it as well as the chocolate .

This is my go to protein and it's great stuff. The chocolate tastes MUCH better but I can still get the vanilla down after a workout. Highly recommended. There are roughly 10-11 serving per container.

The protein powder is good but not for my weight loss use as it has too many calories. Instead, the lean protein is a better choice, lower calories.

At 66 yrs old it helps me Recover & maintain mass! Used Muscle Milk but did not work like this product. Have been using it for 3 1/2yrs and my local supplier was out for weeks and only stocked chocolate this Vanilla Cream is great!

Good flavor to mix with fruit.
