Good value; gets the job done
I recently tested this out on a backpacking trip in Alaska. The bright orange color is totally ideal -- it's always a good idea to have a few high-viz items with you in the backcountry, especially in foul weather. I had no trouble getting the XL size over my 65L Osprey Aura pack, and it stayed put without issues when taking my pack on and off and while doing some light bushwhacking through willow thickets. The cover is slightly tackier (feels slightly rubberized) on the inside, which I imagine helps it stay put. It's true that it's basically a giant shower cap, so your fit may vary. For me, though there was some vertical slack to spare, there wasn't a ton of extra width around the sides of the pack. The cover seems quite durable -- it survived unscathed through the aforementioned bushwhacking as well as being put "face-down" onto gravel/rocks/dirt many times. The cover remained waterproof through rain and hail but did collect some water on the inside at the bottom when I failed to stretch the cover out completely to my hip flaps. The outside of my pack dampened slightly from (I think) condensation inside the cover, but I imagine that's unavoidable with the temperature swings that can accompany sudden rainstorms in Denali.

Now this may sound like a bad review but it is not
I got this to put over my bag for a 3000 mile motorcycle trip. Now this may sound like a bad review but it is not. We got nailed in Canada. Not just rain, but pouring rain for hours. The bag was made to cover a backpack while wearing it. Not really while it's strapped to a motorcycle going highway speeds during a down pour. The only problem I encountered was that water would collect in the bottom and have no place to go. So the clothes at the bottom of my bag did get wet. Not soaked, just wet. Other than that the cover was water proof. If you were hiking I don't think you would have a problem keeping your bag dry. The way I was packed it did push the sides out giving the water a place get into, on your back it should be tight. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to someone, and it will still be used on my next motorcycle trip.

Seemed to work fine, good for the price,
I actually had a pretty full pack and wasn't sure I was going to bring this when I ordered it, but when it arrived I found it to be quite small and easily stored. Didn't use this much in the rain on my trip, but when I did it seemed to work as intended. Actually used it more often to keep my pack dry while sitting on the tent floor, as the tent floor was not waterproof and did get quite damp.I got the XL, and it was the right size for my 60L pack, but I had a tent strapped to the bottom and it wouldn't really cover that plus the pack (no fault there, just a note). If you are going to strap stuff to the outside of your pack, get one size up.

For the money you can not ask for much but, better than the average.
I bought two or the covers to use with a Kelty RedCloud 110 and a Kelty Yukon 50. With the internal frame the cover cover most of it but, still leaving some uncover area in the sides when pack to capacity. I figure out that once I use the compression straps that should take care of that problem. With the external frame, it cover the entire back area, however, it is not well secure and I will use some straps to make sure it do not fly away in windy conditions.. Overall, a descent cover that may fulfill the job of protecting your backpack in average weather conditions but may present a challenge in extreme conditions. Solution to that will be to set up camp or find a place while the extreme conditions prevails.

My son got this to use with his Osprey Atmos 65 backpack. It works perfectly and was half the price of the Osprey brand.

Straps rip of very easy
The stamps rip off easily making it not water proof. Was very disappointed as hiking for weeks straight I was not able to return. Very disappointing mid trail with wet stuff!

Not the greatest
Covers my 65L backpack just fine, but it’s a very thin material. Also, there’s no draw string to sinch it down. There’s one crappy piece of material at the top to tie it to your drag handle (I guess?). Would it have killed this company to add a loop to be able to hang it for drying purposes? Haven’t field tested. We’ll see how this holds up. Low expectations.
