such a great book. I love how analytical he is.It's written in the format of a page per day.Check out page 184, it's my favorite so far. I must say, when I read that, I died laughing. His response cut directly through the muck of the question and hit the nail right on its head. Also, I recommend watching him on YouTube, this way you can hear his voice and cadence in your head while you read. It also makes the book more humorous and prevents you from misrepresenting the way the author intends to be taken. I know he doesn't intend to be funny, but god knows his delivery is. We are lucky to have Jimmy because he's a great mind coupled with the ability to deliver it to our ears and hearts. Overall, it's a genius grade book on apologetics in which I trust to ever recommend. Enjoy!A special thanks to Catholic Answers for putting him on my radar.

Simple,clear explanations of common arguments against Catholic Christianity usually raised by Protestants and non-Christians.Actually there are 366 defences in the book.

I rated this book at five stars because I like Jimmy Akins answers on the radio.This is a good book to read if you are Christian, but not Catholic and wanting to understand more about Catholics.

Terrific for my teenage son who is going off to college and wants to know how to talk about his faith with others

Mr Akin might just as well have written apologetics #1 reference book! The only book that could surpass this masterpiece is the ''second volume'' that I pray he starts writing soon. I first heard Mr Akin in the Catholic Answers open forum radio program and I was struck by his clarity of ideas and knowledge of the Christian/Catholic faith. I recommend this book wholeheartedly !!

I used this product to further my knowledge of the Catholic Faith. This book has some good short answers for many objections to the faith. Definitely a book to have if you look forward to throwing down with some Protestants; spiritually that is.

Well written! Almost TOO well written. Can get a bit high-brow, but you can't complain for lack of information in this book. Covers all the arguments from agnostics, protestants, and anti-Catholics.

Knowing my faith means everything to me, putting it right when others wrongly assume they know the Catholic faith. I like being correctly informed.
