Pilot Automotive MI-004 10" Day/Night Mirror, Rear View Mirror

My rearview mirror kept falling off and the tightening screw with stripped so I had to get a new one this one's a little bit smaller than my original but it works fine and I was able to screw it on fine and it stays in place and doesn't fall off so yay!

Not quite a year ago I got a used car that has one of those "automatic dimming" mirrors, which works HORRIBLY so I've been looking to replace it.This affordable mirror is very good quality and installed in about 5 minutes! I didn't need glue in my case because it fit right onto the standard metal mount that was already on the window.One screw took the old one off, one screw put this new one on. I'm so looking forward to driving with this, and enjoying the normal reduction of nighttime headlight glare again!

Nice mirror but is too loose. Stays in place but is not tight.

I have an 89 GMC K1500. My mirror was missing when I purchased it. I had the small adhesion block already installed and I just needed the mirror. It fit perfectly. Great value and does the job.

Be sure you check the size I checked the mount on the windshield and the shape was the same but I got this and it didn’t fit. It comes with what you need but you will need to glue the new mount if you don’t have the correct old one. This isn’t a big deal just something to note as I didn’t.. it works nice and has a clear view no warp. Also has the tinted switch for bright cars woo! It was for a friend’s car so no photos but it was good to go.

I needed a new mirror for my 93 Ford Ranger but the Ford one was discontinued. After looking at several it choose this one. It does fit and is only slightly wider but a little shorter than the original. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't fit the Ford mirror bracket tightly like the old one. I had a bit of trouble getting it to slide on and when I did it seemed to tighten well but after driving a few days it seems to want to vibrate even though it's tight. I also noticed the mirror moves very easy at the pivot point. Overall this isn't bad since my only choice would have been another used mirror that would be delaminated or would have because of the age.Edit 4/24/24:After a year the mirror has gotten really loose at the pivot point and flops around. It's not due to use. It's just a badly designed part. I rarely drive this truck and really have no reason to readjust the mirror. So, it's definitely not caused from use. I would skip it and try to find another brand.
