Backpacker Apparel Great Outdoors Shirt Jac

I normally buy "Carhartt' for my clothing, I saw this shirt/jacket, the description and I thought I would "Leave my Comfort Zone" - I'm happy I did, this shirt is made of High Quality Materials, High Quality Craftsmanship. At a very reasonable price for the quality of the Shirt/Jacket- the snap up front is nice (I did put a small "Dab" of Beeswax on the female side of each snap , smooth as silk)- I'm 6' 2" . 230 lbs. an XL Tall fits perfect. The inside lining is very warm, all the stitching is Very High Quality as is the item as a whole. Thanks "Backpacker" for a Quality Shirt/Jacket that keeps me warm in N.E.Wyoming winter, Thanks to Amazon for the ability to shop from the "Deep Backwoods" for items that are not available in many stores - and to all who take the time to leave a detailed review so we know what we will receive

Amazing buy. Heavy, brushed canvas with soft flannel lining comparable (if not better than) my similar LL Bean Katahdin Ironworks shirt. I liked it so much I went back for another, but the price had more than tripled! If you get a good price on this shirt you can’t go wrong, And even at the full price, it’s a nice shirt/jacket.

Wow, what a shirt/jacket this is! Really like the Gusset style, so much room to move, none of that tight feeling, warm, breathable, easy care, nice colors, felt broken in while trying this on.

I’ve been looking for a shirt jacket for a long time to replace one I had for years that I’ve gotten all dirty from working in the garage on our vehicles since it’s not a heated garage. So I’ve had this one eyed on for a year or so in my shopping lists of wishes. I finally broke down and ordered the tan one. I’m really impressed with the jacket and the buttons. The side pockets seem a little higher than I like but it’s no bother overall. Looking forward to wearing this for a long time.

I'm 5'7" and all of my button-up shirts and jackets are size small. This size pretty much always fits me, and if anything sometimes they're on the small size and most of my T-shirts are size medium. So I felt pretty confident ordering a size small of this shirt jacket.It's gigantic. The sleeves are billowy and long. The shirt length reaches halfway to my knees. It looks like I bought at least one size too big, but the shirt says small on the label. It's too bad, because the shirt itself seems pretty nice! There's no XS option so I guess I'm out of luck on this one.

Very pleased with this purchase, was exactly what I was hoping for. It has more heft than just a lined shirt and a more relaxed, comfortable fit than a jacket. And I'm a fan of the snaps instead of buttons.I normally wear a large and a large in this fit fine. I've washed it a few times and have noticed no shrinkage. If I had any criticism it would be that the picture shown depicts a "cream" color, while in actuality it is darker and grayish in tone. But liked it so well I ordered another in a different color.

I was very disappointed with this shirt jacket. It is very long. I purchased a size medium for my adult son who is 5'11". I swear, this is more for someone 6'3" or taller. I returned it. Not only was it extremely long, I did not like the stiff canvas fabric or flannel lining that did not match the color of the outer canvas fabric. I had high hopes but these were all dashed. Another thing, the shirt was crammed into a very small shipping box making it appear very wrinkled. I have no positive comments to post.

This is the 2nd outdoor shirt I got for my husband from this company. The flannel plaid is a nice touch on the inside, the outerwear on the outside is solid, looks good for dress up or dress down and love the snaps for easy on and off in the cool months. The first one he had lasted 2-3 seasons before he got it too dirty and then got a rip from working on cars. Nothing the shirt did, it is all on him. If they add more styles, will get another one.

Well worth the wait, excellent shirt/jacket, nice and warm and not too heavy, great for photography in the cold weather, would recommend to a friend. Size comes up a bit large but for me this is ideal to allow wearing layers underneath, very pleased

Unlike some shirt/jackets this one is 100% fleece lined inside the arms also You can actually turn it inside out and wear it with the fleece outside (although it's not intended to be used this way). It has a good weight and feels great for spring/fall weather. It can be complimented by a thermal vest if you need additional warmth without too much bulk.I'm 175cm 195lbs and I got a Medium which fits perfectly over either bare chest or a very thin thermal undervest. This is the perfect garment for driving and popping in and out of the car to do messages in cold weather as it is not bulky and looks and feels like you are smart casual dressed. It is not suitable by itself for piercingly cold winds. My gf has also started using it as a night shirt to go to the bathroom so it's getting plenty of use ...

The quality of the duck is fair. Not high quality like other brands. But in general, I like it.

Very good quality. Warm. Soft. Fits good. I love it. I also have the canvas zip up jacket as well. This company makes good stuff.

Love it. Might request to be buried in it.
