I’ve made some assumptions about the game play for this (based on the fact that we already have the Super Mario and Fingerlings editions of this and the rules for both games are the same), as the particular set I received didn’t have any instructions with it.The Batman characters are comic-book style and include Batman, Robin, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Harvey Twoface, Catwoman, The Joker, and The Riddler.This game is quite a lot of fun. It's a bit like a harder, Batman-themed version of Connect 4 meets Battleship... with a twist that's pure evil. The aim of the game is to build a line of cubes with 5 of the same character in it. Your opponent can’t see your cubes, but can see which ones you have moved, as any move pushes another cube out of the board.It's a nice combination of luck and strategy, where as well as actively trying to spoil your lines, your opponent can literally hand you the piece you need with no way of knowing until it's too late.There is a wild card twist too. Before play commences each player (or team) is dealt two mini cards from a small deck featuring the range of characters on the cubes. They aren't allowed to look at these cards until after play ends, but if they find a card that matches the character on their opponent's line when they do... at the turn of a single card they steal the victory and win the game.The build quality of the set is excellent. The board acts as its own carry case, with sides that clip in place securing blocks and cards inside. The clips are a bit stiff - but this is preferable to them being loose and allowing cubes to spill everywhere.

I am most impressed with the presentation of this game, it arrives in a box, but the game itself is stored in a black batman box that is easy to pack away and looks nice.The game itself is easy to understand so all ages would find this fun and enjoy playing, it is fun, and it gets mixed up each time so you can play. We played this a couple of times and then started to get a little bored, but we are adults so I feel that children would absolutely love to play this game again and again.Great value for such a lovely presented game (especially for batman/superhero fans).

This game is a bit like battleships, guess who and connect four all in one. It's really simple to set up and play and games don't take long at all.The rules are simple, match up a line of characters before the other player. The spanner in the works is you pick two cards at the start of the game, if the other player matches a line but your card shows their match you steal the game. My four year old really loves this so even younger players can pick up and play.All the pieces are good quality and it folds up really well for travel.Overall this is a simple fun game.

This game idea works well with whatever brand or theme can be slapped on. We had tried the Harry Potter version so our little bat fan was keen to give this a go. It is very quick to get out, play and put away. It looks a bit like battle ships so each player can't see the other side. Just take it in turns pushing out cubes from your side trying to match lines of characters. Works with a range of ages. Fun Batman characters art to match on all cubes. Great.

This is made by top trumps but is nothing like the top trumps card games, I’d say it’s like a combination of connect 4 and battleships.The game comes in branded box and is simple to assemble and play.It seems like the cards this comes in many themes but been DC and Marvel fans this fits great for us.Simple well made game that I’ve enjoyed playing with daughter

Easy game, probably more suitable for a younger player. Found out how to play by looking up game online as no instructions provided. Still not sure if we are playing properly?Good for Batman fans.

This is one of a million variations of this game, just with Batman branding. Which is great if you know young kids that like Batman. The game itself is robust and should hold up to sore losers (or winners!). It's not a particularly exciting game but should keep little ones occupied for a short time.It's reasonably priced for a game that has a decent amount of replayability.
