Mi Goreng Instant Noodles

I was introduced to mi goreng from some indo's in military school. Id eat them daily. the soy sauce is thick and sweet so after i boil the noodles, I put the sauce packs on the hot noodles so make the sauce thinner. it makes it easy to squeeze out. the flavor is so good, its sweet and spicy at the same time. dam i want some now!

This was my very first fried noodle I bought. And before this, I had only eaten the ramen sold in every store in the US.I'll just say this: Mi Goreng makes the those cheap supermarket ramen seem like I eating newspapers and apple cores.Better quality noodles, better quality sauces(3 of them in the package), and combined it is quite flavorful.Will definitely try again.

Ah, Indomie Mi Goreng. The crack of the ramen world. How can something this cheap be so bloody good. And why isn't it easier to find??Seriously, this stuff is mondo good. The noodles are even good dry. You can mix it with just about anything you want too. It's ramen, so it's as healthy as styrofoam. But oh it is so worth it

Although, I understand that the Goreng part of the name means noodles without broth, I'll never stop calling this ramen (meaning noodles with broth). The Indomie products that I've tried (original, satay, and pedas) are all delicious. Make no mistake, not all oriental noodles do it for me. When our local Asian market ran out of Indomie, the owner told me to get a different brand that he promised I'd like better. I ended up throwing it out, because the taste was just awful. Indomie (original) however, has a mellow taste, with enough spice to keep you interested.This how noodles are done. Classic.

I heard about these noodles from a friend, so after months of him telling me I need to try them, I finally caved in and bought 10 packs. Mi Goreng is simply amazing, the best instant noodles I've ever had, I'll never go back to the cheapo Ramen you can get in your local grocery store.

Obviously it's a lo-mein, so you drain the water before adding any of those condiment that came with the package. For maximum effect, sprinkle with sliced/diced deep fried onion and/or garlic. (Available as Asian grovery stores in a small transparent bottle.)

Once you try Mi Goreng's you will never go back. I was first introduced to them in Australia, I'd eat them almost everyday. I give them two thumbs up and five stars.
