Truth or Dare: A relentless page-turner from the master of the killer thriller

I am continuing my catch-up of M. J. Arlidge’s series D.I. Helen Grace series of police procedurals set in the South of England, featuring the cases investigated by the Major Incident Team based at the Southampton Central Police Department.‘Truth or Dare’ is Book 10 and again proved a well plotted crime thriller that follows on from the events in Book 9, ‘All Fall Down’.My plan now is to return to the start of the series in order to gain a sense of how Helen Grace became the no nonsense D.I. that I encountered in the later books.

6/10One of his worst to date... the twist was absolutely ridiculous because you physically cannot guess it (what's the point in a 'who-dunnit' if you can't get it right?)Wasn't a constant page-turner and by the end, I had to be super disciplined to finish it. I'm in it for the long haul so of course, I'll keep reading, but at this point, it's just a bit silly.

Another excellent DI Grace novel, super story line and what a cliff hanger of an ending. Cannot wait to read the next instalment. Highly recommended.

In my opinion this MJ Arlidge series of thrillers are blooming brilliant.Set in Southampton area … they are all highly recommended. Probably best to read in order .. starting with Eeny Meeny but they get better and better ….. highly recommended

Bought so many of these novels. MJ Arlidge is my favourite author of the moment. Never disappointed. Real page turner
