Pretty and non-breakable.
I ordered the Portmeirion melamine plates as I love the patterns and have the regular plates for my dinnerware.Thought I would use the melamine for when the grandkids were visiting and not have to worry about chipping or breakage.The set came in all one pattern, the sunflower, which happen to be my favorite flower. They are very pretty, and look so much nicer on the table then paper or plastic.

I love my sunflower melanin plates! They get used just about everyday. They Wash up nice. Pleasant to see and use.

The plates are very durable and can be placed in the dishwasher. Love the sunflower design. I bought a set of four and, liked them so much, I purchased another set.
