So much cooler
These replaced the burning hot halogen light bulbs in the bathroom. They are so bright and so much cooler than the original bulbs.

No more flicker
The media could not be loaded. No matter what dimmer I purchased the lights would radically flutter when turning on and off or dimming. Even adjusting the dimmer wouldn't work. After hiring at the electrician at $40 a pop to change the switch he tells me it could be the bulbs. These were the answer to the problem. From now on I only get better bulbs and those that go that are recommended with the switch

2 died within hours, but seller sent another pack
UPDATE: After my initial 1-star review, the seller contacted me and offered to send a new pack. They arrived promptly and all 6 in the new pack work out of the box. I've increased my rating to 3 stars and will update further on longevity in the future - if the bulbs hold up for a year, I'll increase my rating further.ORIGINAL - Had high hopes for these bulbs based on the reviews. Replaced 5 x 50W halogen bulbs with these 5W LEDs in track lights. They flickered at both the high and low end, so I replaced our older Lutron Skylark S-600 dimmer with a new Lutron Diva DVWCL-153PH dimmer and they worked great, with just some flicker at the low end, which is manageable. Unfortunately, within a few hours, 2 of the 5 bulbs went dim and essentially out. It was an experiment, but the moral of the story is to avoid cheap bulbs on Amazon. Will have to switch to Feits.

Very dimmable, excellent quality of light
Replaced 50w halogens with these, 2700K. A well-made led. Quality of light is excellent, just the right tone (sometimes 2700k leds can get a bit orange). They dim consistently, without a flicker at the lower settings. Very pleased.

Package was wrong, but product was perfect.
When I posted my initial review I noted that the box did not say that bulbs were dimmable, but that the picture of the box on Amazon said it was. Well--they are dimmable, and the sellers were great in helping me on this and offered great customer service. I am totally happy with these bulbs, and I can assure you that they dim perfectly!!!
