This will be perfect for carrying around my buddy, Charlie. His talons get really sharp and his grip is powerful. Having a glove really protects my hand and Charlie has a better grip on my hand. A win-win situation.Too bad that I cannot purchase just the left glove. Charlie is a “left handed” macaw and will not ride on my right hand so it would be nice to have a backup in case I misplace, lose or Charlie wears out this one.They do have a very strong leather and leather dye smell right out of the package but like other leather items a little while in the open air should decrease the odor, I hope. If not then I’ll soak them in a container of baking soda and cold water to rinse away the leather tanning solution. It smells like the leather processing wasn’t fully completed using a fresh water rinse solution.I’m going to try my idea on the right glove to see if I can get the chemical smell out. I can then test it for shrinkage as well as the smell reduction. I’ll update this review once I have my results.

Been three days and still airing out my gloves with window open during the day. Supposedly throwing them in a ziploc with baking soda helps lessen the odor, but it's still pretty pungent after half a day. Great otherwise!

Velcro detaches from the gloves too easy

Got it for a Halloween costume, but it could easily be used for its actual intended purpose. Comfy, good fit, etc

One of the metal studs was already broken when it arrived and the thread in a couple places is questionable in terms of stability. That being said, they're surprisingly comfortable and came in handy on an unexpectedly hot day to protect my hands from a hot steering wheel.

We have a three month old puppy and I got these gloves to prevent the punctures and scraped inflicted on my hand by puppy exploration, which occurs by mouth of course. They are very snug which means it will take quite a bit of time to remove them. Not bad for the money, but they run small so order a size larger than usual

A little early to judge their long term durability but so far, there's no appreciable wear in the palm or joints. I use the gloves for wheelchair locomotion, somewhat different than what they are design d for. I'm a paraplegic, and for now, the chair is my sole form of mobility. The main Velcro straps atvth base of the gloves work very well in function and purpose--they hold secured and are easy to strap on. The mid-wrist fasteners, which "torque" the opposite direction are not as secure. The idea of the strap is good, but more Velcro should be available for fastener security. Otherwise, the fit and form is professional grade, and I've had positive comments on the look of the gloves.

These are comfortable and stylish gloves, but they would not hold up if you got into any real accident on the road, or even off road. While they look great, there is no padding or anything to keep your hands really safe.

Material is not great. I saw bits of threads on the gloves when I first took it out of the packaging. It's good purchase for my purpose as I only intend to use it in the summer when my steering wheel is too hot to handle.
