Love, Love, Love this brush.
Love, Love, Love this brush, had one years ago and loved it also, but gave to my granddaughter, should have kept it because her texture of hair is not the same as mine. My hair is baby fine and frizzy up front and on front sides. This brush is so perfect for this type of hair. It feels so good brushing my short 79 year old female hair. I am praying that this brush will stimulate my hair into growing. It has taken sooo long for my hair to grow. It grows very slowly because it breaks so easily. So I will what progress it makes for thr rest of the year. Just got my brush a couple of weeks ago, but hasn't let me down, it just FEELS SO GOOD ON MY SCALP while brushing.

Good brush
This is the one that works for me. I had been using the one with nylon bristles combined with boar which I liked because it felt and worked better than a previous one (all boar but closely packed bristles, not useful for me), and finally realized it was pulling out my hair....not a happy thing. I was thinking other things were causing the problem. I bit the bullet and bought this one... After brushing I see almost NO hair in the brush, and the scalp and hair are happy. The price is painful but so is the sight of your hair drifting over the floor. And as noted in other reviews, I swear my hair feels nicer to the touch!

Best brush on the market
You can never go wrong with this brand. I have bought all our grandkids each one. It leaves your hair shiny and less tangles, you can not go wrong with them, only thing we use in our home, will buy again it also includes a cleaning brush to remote hair and make it easier to clean. Worth the money

Give in to the temptation - IT WORKS!
OH MY GOSH - a PERFECT hairbrush! I've bought so many brushes over the past 10 years, including other mason pearson ones. Most of them are too scratchy, or if they have ball tips they don't remove dandruff flakes, or if they were pure boar bristle they were weak and couldn't reach the scalp.THIS ONE WORKS! There are not too many bristles, the bristles that ARE there are stiff, long, and reach the scalp! I can't believe I spent $200 to get this brush. Believe me, at that price if it weren't PERFECT I would have returned it. But I won't :) The boar bristles are stiff, penetrate my fine hair, reach the scalp, provide just the right amount of massage. I couldn't believe the amount of flakes that came off my scalp (you can see them when you turn the brush over and look at the backside after brushing.) It seems like a stupid high price to pay for a brush, especially a plastic one, but i love it!

I've had three of these over the last fifty (!) years. Never use any others. Gentle and soothing.

SELLER
If this is a review of the product, it was unfortunately a terrible product. I've owned the same MP brush from about 12 years ago. The exact same product. This new brush that I got to replace a broken handle on the old brush was poorly made. This has NOTHING to do with the seller. The seller was EXCELLENT in handling the return of the product. They were responsive and I received the FULL refund for the order, including shipping, which I thought was generous. Kudos to a seller who handles their stuff! Thank you!

Mason Pearson Sensitive- Not all that great
Well, after months of research I gave in and bought this brush for my fine-thin hair. I not only read reviews from users, but watched videos and looked into the history and make of this brush. It sounded fantastic and I finally just bought it.My first impression is that the brush is very well made. The handle is lovely and the bristles do not fall out. It comes with a brush cleaner which is pretty ordinary but does what it should. This is the reason I gave it two stars. Now, as far as the performance of the brush itself, it is very average. Yes, it felt "good" against my scalp but not much different from other quality boar brushes that retail at $20.00. After brushing there was plenty of hair that still came out of my head and if you are looking for volume...the only one I got was from all static in my hair. Otherwise the hair on the top part of my head lay flatter than usual unless it was standing in the air.I really wish I had not spent $100 for this brush. I would have maybe spent $25, and that would only be for the "massage" feel and how attractive the brush is.
