OVERVIEW:I purchased a total of 12 of these boxes: 6 Solgaleo (Orange) and 6 Lunala (Purple). Overall I am very happy with the purchase and the product is exactly as described. The pull rates are pretty good considering I received at least 1 Rare Holo GX or better per box. For an in-depth review please see below.BOOSTER PACKS:Out of all 12 boxes (or 96 Packs, 8 packs per box times 12) I pulled:1 Secret Rare: Ultra Ball3 Rainbow Rare: Lunala-Gx, Lapas-Gx, Tauros-Gx1 Ultra Rare: Solgaleo-Gx10 Rare Holo GX: Lunala-Gx, Umbreon-Gx, Tauros-Gx, 2 x Gumshoos-Gx, 3 x Lapras-Gx, 2 x Solgaleo-Gx** Overall you are likely to get at least 1 card in 1 of the above categories per box purchased **** FOR PARENTS/INDIVIDUALS UNFAMILIAR WITH POKEMON CARDS: The above card rarities are considered by the competitive community and kids as the more rare and desirable cards! **DICE:High quality dice that are very useable for competitive play.CARD SLEEVES:The design on the card sleeves is very nice but I would not recommend these for competitive play. These sleeves are not durable and they do not shuffle smoothly. The sleeves often cut into one another while shuffling and the sleeve will rip/cut. If you are using these sleeves just for storage, they do a good job of protecting your cards.PLAYER'S GUIDE:Nice inclusion that provides deck suggestions and a list of all cards in the set.POISON COUNTER, BURN COUNTER, GX COUNTER:The poison and burn counters are made of a heavy cardboard and very useful for competitive play. The GX counter is made of plastic and is durable, good for competitive play.CARD STORAGE BOX:Made of a heavy card board that is great for storing all your cards, sleeved cards fit well into the box as well. I use the boxes to store uncommon and common cards unsleeved. I can fit approximately 500-550 unsleeved cards in one of these boxes.

Don't dismiss this Elite Trainer Box due to the poor reviews that solely judge this based upon the contents of the booster packs because, per the nature of a randomized booster pack, you get what you get.This collection gives you some great things for any Pokemon Trading Card Game player or collector. You get the described 8 booster packs which will give you a good collection of cards to use in your deck building. The themed dice and card sleeves are quite nice and are of good quality. On top of this you get a set of status effects and GX attack tokens that are a step above those found in theme/starter decks. You can easily take these and use them in more competitive settings, such as tournaments.Good luck on your pulls from the booster packs and happy gaming!

This is really a really neat set! First time I ordered I ordered one and the blue one came. That grandson was thrilled with it!!! Another grandson wanted the orange one so since there was no way to order one or the other, I decided to order two thinking they would send one of each. Nope. Two of the same one came. Thankfully it was two of the orange one so my grandson was happy. I even called customer service to see if they could make sure I got one of each. They said they couldn't do it. I just don't understand why you can't order one or the other without all this nonsense.

I got the best card in the set, but not anything else. Worth my money!

Overall the box is great. I received the Solgaleo box which is gorgeous. If you're a fan of the elite trainer boxes, then this is an easy buy. Just note that no specific card is guaranteed inside of these boxes aside from the included energy cards. The rest come from random pack pulls.

Reseealed and all packs opened. Waste of my money and big disappointment for my son

I have purchased many Elite Trainer Boxes, but the Sun & Moon boxes were somewhat of a disappointment in terms of pulls. The contents are the same as any other ETB (dice, condition markers, etc.), but the pulls were the kicker for the low review.Now, before you mark this as unhelpful, hear my reasoning. I never knock these for pulls because it is truly a random situation. However, it has been proven via many Pokemon TCG fans that the pull ratio of all Sun & Moon products is somewhat rigged. For example, a booster box has it set up that every third pack is packed with Rares (Please conduct an Internet/YouTube search and you'll see). It is reasonable to assume that the same holds true for ETBs, as these may follow a similar pattern.I liked the ETB and the included contents for both boxes (Sun and Moon), but I did not like the pull ratio, as I did feel as though it was rigged. Later productions may have resolved this issue, but I haven't purchased additional boxes to test. YMMV greatly, as is true with any "random" pack/box.

So good. So very, very good. I purchased this box because I wanted to become an elite trainer but once I received one I had to have more. I bought another. Then I bought six more in an attempt to become the ultimate master pokemon trainer and guess what? I think I am actually ready for my GRAND TRIAL. Don't wait. Don't hesitate. Become the trainer you are meant to be, today.
