IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel

This gel smells amazing and makes your hair look like you just got out of bed, but in a "I swear, I totally just woke up like this ;) ;)" type of way. Lol. You don't even need to blow dry your hair! All you have to do is put a nickel sized amount in your palms, scrunch it evenly onto your hair and let it air dry. That's it! No teasing your hair like it's prom night in 1989, no blow drying your hair until you're so exhausted you feel like you can skip your workout...for a week, and no hair spraying until you learn the hard way to fear any type of open flame. It's a total life saver!

I have fine, thick and curly hair. Meaning I have fine individual strands but a ton of them. Because my hairs are fine, I have a large problem with frizz when I wear it curly. This separates the curls nicely and eliminates the frizz! After my shower, I scrunch my hair lightly with a light towel to remove excess water, I think use a nickle-sized dollop of the gel, rub it in my hands, turn my head upside down and use my hands to "scrunch" my hair wiht the product that is on my hands. Works like a dream!!

I have purchased this product numerous times from Sephora and now I know why I have always done that in the past. This came in and is the texture of glue, not creamy like it should be and when applied to hair, it separated into white clumps that remained even after my hair was dry. Terrible experience, I will never order from this seller in the future

I received this as a sample in a beauty kit and ended up tracking it down on Amazon. I have beachy hair that is wavy but not kinky. If I don't apply product it looks frizzy and lifeless. This stuff isn't greasy, oily or sticky. I use a quarter sized amount and apply it to damp hair and let it air dry.

I got the igk rich kid coconut oil gel in one of my makeup subscription boxes and LOVED it so wanted to order more! This product that I got from Amazon is not that. The original gel was like magic, it did all of the right things to my hair, body, shine, curl, texture. This stuff that came from amazon, the first time I tried the gel, I could already tell the smell was off. I'd say it smells expired, maybe it is the same product but expired. Who knows what is actually in the bottle. Definitely had that "chemically" smell people talk about with bad product. And it does nothing to my hair. NOTHING. It doesn't do any of the good things that my origional gel did. I'm pretty mad I spent all of this money on a product that doesn't work at all. It's totally USELESS. Money down the drain. I would warn everyone to not buy this product. This is a horrible representation of authentic igk product. I will try to return it but I won't hold my breath.

This allows my hair to dry faster and I NEVER go without it. Such a wonderful product and lasts me well over a year (I have short hair, use a dime sized amount, wash my hair every other or every third day). I only use it in my ends, not near my scalp or my hair will become oily. :) Also, smells GREAT!

I am obsessed with the smell of this. It is AMAZING.. however as far as doing what the product says it does I am disappointed. I have fine hair and a little natural wave but a little frizzy when air dried so I thought I would try this product and I truly don’t notice any difference after putting this product in my hair. It’s still quite frizzy afterwards and my waves don’t look any better then it would without it. At this point I use this in my hair everyday only for the smell of it. The smell is HEAVEN but the product does not work for me personally 😩

I can now brush my hair without all those knots! My scalp doesnt hurt now when I style my hair, the frizz is also a lot calmer abd my hair is SO soft. A little goes a long way too so I expect this product to last to or over 6 montha easily.
