I'm very glad I didn't get chrome. Had to do a little grinding to make it fit. quick latches needed moved to outside of bracket no biggie. after I modified works great!

The quick disconnect fir perfectly on my 02 Ultra Classic. There was no adjustments needed. The only thing is that the bolts to hold the tour pack to the mount bracket was WAY to short. That was not a big problem because I was able to use the factory ones. I did receive the luggage rack mount and the docking brackets separately. I contacted the seller and they responded very quickly that the docking mounts get shipped separately. Great customer service and great product. I highly recommend the product and seller.

This requires separate tour pack mounting hardware from the quick detach hardware for backrests. I returned this for item: TCMT King Tour Pack Pak Latches Razor Chop Trunk Mount Rack For Harley Touring 97-08.

The quality of the big parts seems to be okay. The chrome looks like it's decent.Now, for the rest of the story.....To say the instructions are terrible is an understatement. I had to look online to see how everyone else was getting theirs to go together.The instructions have a picture that shows a spacer in between the detachable base and the round tube. My kit didn't come with them. I asked the seller and they said "not needed" even though the instructions clearly show them. I went to the HD dealer and bought them anyway.My kit was missing the 2-1/4" bolts needed to attach the tour pack to the brackets. The only other bolts I had were too short to fasten it all together. I'll have to go buy those, too.I hope after all the extra effort and buying needed hardware that this will finally work out, as of right now it's been nothing short of a headache when it could really be a much simpler install with better instructions and better QC for hardware.
