I’ve used these Gosund smart plugs for years and they’ve been great. I recently gifted 8 more to my parents and had them set up in just a few minutes. Setup is fast and easy. You’ll download the Gosund app, create an account, and after granting necessary permissions, the plug auto-discovers itself. There’s also a manual setup option if needed. From there, I went into our Alexa app, selected “set up a new smart plug,” chose Gosund, and it auto-detected them. Within minutes, all our lamps were voice-controllable. These plugs do stick out a bit, so make sure you have enough space around your outlets. Otherwise, they’re solid, compact, and durable. These are so easy to use. Just download the app, plug in the devices, add them to your home network, and they work. I bought 4 of these 5 years ago for church and they've never had a single issue. Great product.

We use this in our nursery and bedroom, and it’s honestly one of those small upgrades that makes daily life so much easier. When our baby falls asleep, we monitor through the camera and simply turn the lights off using Alexa—no need to walk back into the room and risk waking her up. We also use it for bedside lamps, and it’s incredibly convenient. We already use Alexa for our robot vacuum and TV, so adding lighting control through voice and the app felt like the missing piece of our smart home setup. Works great, just depends on the light. Didn't work worth my plant lights unfortunately but with others.

Love these little things. I have two dozen in use. Been using for a few years and never had one fail. Integrates with Alexa or Google easily. Very easy to connect to the Gosund or Tuya apps. Just be smart and don't use them for something that draws max amps--like an air conditioner or heater. Christmas tree lights, indoor x-mas decorations, fans, accent lights, lamps, anything that has a power switch that's hard to reach. I even use them on computers and monitors...set computer to auto start--I tell Alexa to turn on the computer and when I walk into the office, it's already booted up. I have LED shop lights over a work bench in the garage and the ceiling outlet is not switched...how would I turn them on/off--one of these and it's voice activated now.

These are excellent smart plugs. I used them when they were Gosund and they changed their name to GHome. They were goog then, they are better now. If you open the app and plug in the smart plug withe device on, it auutomatically detects and pairs the device. When you give it a name, it is automatically recognized by Alexa if you have an Echo device. I had Wemo plugs, but Wemo discontinued support for them and they all unpaired from Alexa. Get the GHome to replace them.

These things are amazing when combined with Alexa (most likely Google too). You can't beat the price. You can turn things on/off with a voice command. You can make a schedule (routine). I use them everywhere. Great for Christmas Tree... room lights, etc. NOTE: They can be difficult to setup... but it is more Home Network issues than a problem with device. Only supports 2.4Ghz Wireless. Most router support 2.4 and the faster 5.0 . Example: the current Verizon Router supports both Ghz ... but you can't set up a 2.4 only network. The router tried to connect ONLY using 5.0 and it failed. I had to shut Off the 5.0 freq on the router during setup... then it found it and set it up fine. II was then able to re-enable 5.0 and it worked fine.

These are excellent. We have the original four we purchased about 8 years ago, still working well. I purchased another four from another but compatible brand and have already had to replace two of them. Was very happy to see GHome back on Amazon.
