Love!
I've been looking for small artificial trees that were the right size and actually looked REAL. And these are amazing. Everyone that has seen them both in pictures and in person thought they were real, and I don't correct them or mention they are fake :P Unless you get up close and pick through the branches you can't tell they are articfical even standing right next to them.Highly recommend

Great realistic topiaries!
Tried and true as a 5-star. Long story short, I placed these in my two big pots located in front of home garage. The next day, we had a citywide rummage sale; one gentleman commented on them as to how was I able to keep them in such great condition, as his (meaning real trees) are turning yellow. So, he thought they were actually 'real plants'!...Also, an actual greenhouse person commented on how great of shape they were in (until he got up front & very close to inspect the 'hidden branches' and feeling the leaves, thus finding out they were in fact artificial). So, basically, kudos to the company for making a great 'realism' artificial topiary.Update...a yr later..after cold snowy winter...and both trees are holding up awesomely well!;)Another year-worthy update. Added flowers as border to the pot the last 2 yrs. Still looking great!

Pretty nice, fake tree
I was a bit skeptical about this tree since it was much cheaper than other trees of the same size (4" total - 1 foot pot, 3" tree). Both my husband and I believe they look pretty real and we're pretty picky about fake stuff (we generally hate all fake foliage). If you study them closely, you'd know they're fake, but from a few feet away, they look pretty darned good. It helps that I planted them in the real soil of my outdoor pots, so you can't see the fake, plastic looking dirt that's on top of of the pot the trees come in. They came packed in a box, so you'll need to "fluff" them, but that takes less than 10 minutes per tree. I paired them with small string lights, GDEALER 4 Pack Fairy String Lights 50 LED 16.4ft. I needed two strings per tree. I've attached a photo of the trees with and without the lights. I would purchase these trees again. We are pleased with them. We've only had them for a few days, so I can't attest to their durability, but they do look pretty real.

Disappointed
I love the concept of artificial, looking like real plants for outdoor entrance beauty. I ordered the 4' from Amazon and a 5' from QVC. Although both trees are from National Tree bearing the very same tags, the taller tree from QVC smacks of real in every way. The color is a dark, forest, life-like green. In comparison the 4' tree shipped from Amazon is a faded green, almost yellow-green! Old inventory? Refurbished, once used? The difference in color is so obvious! I had planned to order a second 4' tree from Amazon, but no - not after receiving this inferior product. The shipping box is just too large to return from Hawaii, so I will keep the disappointing Amazon tree.

So far so good for these artificial trees
So far so good for these artificial trees. I actually went all out and bought 6 of these things and placed them in my front yard. I put them in clay pots and burried them in potting soil so as to make them look more like real trees. After putting them up, the first thing I noticed was how good they looked. The second thing I noticed was several neighbors commenting about how good my trees looked. The third thing I noticed was that when guests would come over and spend time on in the front yard, they would be completely clueless as to the fact the trees were not real until I mentioned it to them. In fact, not one single person to which had commented on the good looks of the lawn renovation noticed that they were artificial trees. The final straw in the bush was that they seem to be lasting very well. I live in the desert where the it gets incredibly hot - like 105 degrees - and tends to fade out all painted items that sit in the sun. These have lasted about 8 months so far. If you are reading this review, please don't take it lightly, these are good artificial trees. I have placed them in the full sun. Meaning they get sun all day long and full on. I suspect they will eventually fade, but I'm really impressed so far. I expect to get at least one more year out of these things. After which time, I'll just get a can of green spray paint and spruce them up sorta-speak. Anyhow, don't let the price of these things be a deciding factor (I think the price was decent enough anyways). I fully recommend these things. Good buy.

Not Bad for the $$
I wanted an artificial shrub for beside the front door, and I chose this one because of its relatively low cost and positive reviews. When I unboxed this tree, I was unhappy to find a half-dozen of the branch tips had fallen off the tree during shipping. This makes me wonder how it will hold up outdoors in the wind, rain and ice. It's not a bad-looking substitute for a real plant, but you need to allow A LOT of time to bend and "fluff" the tree to conceal the metal "trunk." From 6-10 feet away, it looks pretty good, but in the end, it's still a plastic shrub. I think if it was combined with/surrounded by some real plants, it might not look as artificial, but as a stand-alone shrub I'd rate it at about 6 out of 10. But hey -- no maintenance!

Worth it....
Sooooo, I tried to cancel this order after placing the order and it shipped anyway. Glad it didn't cancel... I love them. I just received them and plan on putting them by the pool. Looks good out of the package and was well packaged. I need four of them and wanted to test out two. Will be ordering the other two to complete my small design:)

Gorgeous trees!
Love these trees! I got two for my front porch to replace live plants that I found too difficult to water regularly due to their distance from my water hose. Right out of the box these looked "real". I took the advice of some other reviewers and put them in nice urns then added real potting soil just on the surface (the bowl of the urn is filled with repurposed concrete chunks), even I'm not sure if they are real or not! Lol
