CWR-F2 Aftermarket Shield (Dark Smoke) for RF-1400 Aftermarket Visor CWR-F2 NXR 2 Z8 Pinlock Ready Clear

The shield is a lot darker than expected. More of a limo tint than a smoke tint. However it is awesome. The installation is not harder than original from Shoei. It seems to make RF1400 quieter than with original visor with pinlock. No distortion, no glare, perfect fit, locks shut same as original. Makes helmet feel more private.

How can I not like this visor? It has the perfect amount of tint to block out the sun when riding towards it, though it is a bit dark for daily use. For me, it's just right. However, riding with the visor at night is challenging due to reduced visibility.The quality and price are amazing. While it may not be as smooth as the official Shoei visor, it's a great value, and I would buy it again. I got caught in the rain, and the coating on the visor made the rain bead off, saving me from having to wipe it. Installation was easy on my Shoei RF1400, and the Shoei Evo pinlock fit perfectly. I've had this visor on my helmet for over a month now and I'm very satisfied.

Parfait ajustement et très bonne qualité.

Purchased this for my shoei rf1400, i have road about 6800 miles with it and it workes well. Adjusts nicely and quickly, and the tint is adequately dark most of the time. The exception is when riding into the sun it could be alittle darker, but its still much better than a standard clear lense. Then when the lense is clear its not perfectly clear; It still has a very slight shade to it. You can still see enough to safely ride at night with a good headlight but its noticable. Lastly it does scratch kinda easy when things like small stones hit it. Ultimately a good lense for the price. Fit and functions well. I would buy it again.

Doesn't quite lock when visor is down.Pinlock pins not lined up properly, appears to be off by millimeters (pinlock shield doesn't quite fit)Overall, I'm satisfied with this purchase as I do not have to carry an extra shield. I haven't tried to manually adjust for precise fitment, but currently works well enough (even the Pinlock insert works enough).
