I wanted to leave this review to show everyone the inside of the book. It shows the chord chart AND hand placement picture for each chord!Furthermore, the chords are categorized as follows: A, Bflat, B, C, Csharp, D, Eflat, E, F, Fsharp, G, Aflat.It is set up in an easy to read, easy to find format.I'm new to playing and I'm looking forward to seeing just how much this book helps me in my learning.

Okay, maybe not an encyclopedia, but darn near! This is a very handy Chord reference. Well organized and easy to use. It's a bargain considering. Each chord has a fretboard fingering diagram and clear photo of the chord being fretted. Peter's Picks is my favorite section where he lists some really handy and useful chords. Peter Vogl makes so many great guitar books! I've got 10 and am very pleased with them all. IDK about you guys, but phone apps are starting to get on my nerves, and having an easy to use book is a gozillion times more convenient than another tedious chord app.

I've found The Guitarist's Chord Book to be extremely helpful. It's well organized, which makes it very easy to find chords, and the photos are helpful in seeing how to play each chord. I also really like the Moveable Chord section; once you learn the shapes and have a basic understanding of the notes on the guitar neck, you can play a host of different chords up and down the neck. I've owned several chord books over the years, but The Guitarist's Chord Book is the best by far.

This item met all of the specifications of the seller. Since its arrival I've been using this newest tool in my arsenal and it has proven to be a wise investment. Highly recommended for guitarists of all levels.

The book has a lot of visual diagrams and pictures of hand shapes which makes it easy for beginners to understand chords. Chords aren't organized by sound and harmony but instead by root notes. This can make it harder for beginners to piece together good chord progressions. This shouldn't pose a problem for people experienced with a bit of music theory.In my opinion, the golden part of the book is the end, where there is more information on moveable chords and ways to play progressions.Worth the purchase for beginners, but intermediates or experts should steer clear.

I have bought many chord books over multiple decades. No book can have every chord, but this one has enough alternate voicing positions to help work out smoother transitions for key changes. Since every diagram includes the notes, it is easy to figure out specialty chords or substitutions that are not in the book.

As a beginner ,It has all the chords you don't see in other books.My Teachers are from Europe and they use some different chords.This book has them.

This book is arranged in a useful and logical way but not a full complete set of chords, yet enough to get the average guitar player up to speed.

It's a very good, well planned out book! All the chords are in alphabetical order so you can find the exact chord you need instantly. The photo provided with each chord is very clear and shows how to play the chord properly, should you struggle with some. Barre chords are the ones I find tricky and the pictures really do help. Within seconds of opening the book I found loads of chords I had never seen before, nor would I have ever thought to try. I'd say it's suitable for everyone, from beginners, to professionals. The book stays open without needing support e.g. paperweights, clips etc... Which is bonus, as this was a slight concern when purchasing. 5/5!

I like how It has the numbers where the fingers should go.I wish it has tabs on the side with the chords label's for easier location for what type of chord you are looking forThe pictures are helpful as well

Having purchased the kindle version you would have thought it would work on my kindle paperwhite hardware but it does not. Not compatible is the message I get. I have been able to get it to work with my Android and Windows kindle app and I am enjoying it so far. I have played guitar for forty years but I have still a lot to learn and this book is making that easier. Well laid out and explained for all levels of expertise. This is the first time I have really understood what modes mean for example.

Very detailed reference book showing you all the chords in diagram form with a practical picture. Really good price as well to have as reference material.

this product is just so nice to help and play chords and you never need to learn them fast you piece the puzzle to get better results so your guitar sounds really nice its just a nice book thank you very kindly
