Why can’t I get sound out of my fire stick?

How to upgrade your device: 1.Download 「TAOX」 App,(already have?, go to step 3) you can search 「TAOX」in Google Play. (Support Android only at the moment,iOS is coming soon); 2.Sign up and log in; 3.Add device on 「TAOX」App; 4.Press your device on [Home] page, enter the device control page; 5.There will be a pop up for upgrading, press [ok],and go to step 7; 6.If there is not a pop up, press the [setting] at top-right corner, press the version to upgrade; 7.After upgrading, device will restart.

Having issues locating mac id.. user manual does not have it and the app says it is located below but it isn’t.

Will this work with streaming apps directly from the tv not using a firestick?

No. The internal apps in an smart TV does not output thru any hdmi. ARC only out audio forbthe AVR or Audio bar. If you do not want to use an external streaming device the only option good enough to do Immersion light for a TV with the smart TV apps is Govee that uses a camera. Take into consideration that is not.as accurate as an HDMI sync box based like the Tao X
