Quick Shine Instant Silver. Amazing Pure Silver Plating Spray

If I could leave zero stars I would. I tried this product on a small piece of jewelry and it completely ruined it.First, the pump on the bottle didn’t work so the spray came out in weird large drops. Second, it was a cloudy grey color that no amount of polishing helped. Third, within 3 days the jewelry started turning green. Very disappointing. Terrible product.

I have a watch with a nickel-coated brass bezel. After many years, the nickel had worn off showing the yellowy brass underneath. I stopped wearing it, hoping that someday I would figure out what to do about re-coating it.When I ordered this silver spray, I figured it had a small chance of actually working. However, after about 5 applications the bezel was silver again! I've worn it a few times since then and the coating does not show any signs of wearing thin. Even if it does, I have plenty left in the bottle to fix it again.Highly recommendedp.s. I should mention that surface prep is important. I used a 3M pad to clean any remaining nickel plating off, then wiped with an ammonia cleanser.

Tried to repair some corrosion damage in silver plated serving trays. This product may have helped a little but it is not the miracle cure all the ads claim. The areas I was trying to recoat were not that large or deep. Barely any improvement.

I used this stuff to restore the shine on an old (pre 1973) silver plated trombone. This is by far the fastest, easiest silver polish I've ever used--just spray on, and the tarnish wipes off with a few strokes of the cloth, just like thick dust wiping off with a wet washcloth. My one complaint is the bottle itself--the sprayer is cheap and cheesy, it didn't work at all. I used another sprayer from a bottle I had lying around.My horn had one place where the bell had broken loose from a brace, and it was repaired long ago with brass instead of silver. I sprayed this stuff on, waited 45 seconds as directed, and wiped it off--and...nothing happened. I repeated this about 4 times, and nothing happened. I was a bit disappointed, went on to polish and buff the rest of the horn, then noticed after buffing, that part of the horn was turning lighter. After a lot of buffing, the brass turned silvery. I'm talking strong, hard buffing, enough to shred the cotton cloth I was using, and it took almost an hour. You have to get kind of rough with it. But it did work eventually, and it's definitely not just the color of clean brass, it's silver. I was amazed it actually did work, but I would not say it was easy. Based on this experience, I'm very skeptical whether you could use this stuff to turn small or delicate pieces silvery.Some other parts of the horn, like on the slide handle where the silver plating had worn through, I was not able to restore to silvery appearance. That may be a matter of surface prep. No surface prep was mentioned on the packaging.

Based on the two positive views I ordered and tried it. That was a mistake. Save your money. I did not find it good for either polishing or plating. Just a little colored water mist that sprays on then wipes right back off, leaving the silverplate in the exact same condition before using the product.

This didnt really work for me. Maybe made it a bit shinier but I didn't notice any extra "silver" being added over the copper that is showing on my tea pot. :/ Would not buy again.

Used it on small items of jewelry only. Seems better if the process is repeated with two or three layers. If the item is worn a lot it helps to protect it, I used clear nail polish.

The pump is very hard to work… ended up transferring it to another small spray bottle..
