These are perfect little kits for kids who want to explore and catch bugs! My kids use them for fireflies!

Where to begin... Well we only received half a pair of tweezers. No idea where the other half went as it wasn't in the box. The small container with the magnifying scope has a cracked bottom. The butterfly magnifying glass is useless and also came pretty scratched up. The scratches certainly don't help but I'm pretty sure it would have been useless even if it wasn't scratched. The net is as pictured. And the main bug box works fine but trying to get the bugs back out is a real challenge. I w s going to return it but my 5 yr old was so excited about the net and bug box that it wasn't worth the fight or my time to go through the return process. This was not an expecting set by any means but I certainly don't feel like I got even close to what I paid for. I would not but from this company ever again.

I recently purchased the STEAM Life Educational Bug Catcher Kit for kids. The observation capsule and the magnifying glass came damaged with scratches, making it difficult to see through. The keychain has already broken off the observation capsule and it was just opened. The overall quality of the products in this kit is very poor. I am very disappointed considering I paid $15 for this kit. This is something I could have purchased from the dollar store. It looks cute but do not waste your money!

Maybe the cheapest thing I’ve gotten on Amazon. Each piece is remarkable. From the tiny magnifying glass that’s nearly invisible but is actually the most functional part of the set, to the thin plastic tweezers that don’t work, to the big cup is tiny and has a clip holder that doesn’t work either, the entire set is bubble packed disappointment. The net is only finished on one side and the netting has gaps and is starting to come apart. It’s pretty remarkable. Ideal price for this would have been $2.99 and even at that price would be of no interest if seen in person.Go elsewhere - not worth it even for small children.

Purchased for 3 yr old bug hunter in my life. It IS a really nice set - the many options to examine and catch bugs. However two items broke right away including the "door" to the actual container, rendering it useless. Super cheap material. Still using the magnifyer and the net. Found one at thrift store made out of much sturdier plastic.
