I love to create my ethnic necklaces with antique beads from all over the world. Every bead is a precious gift from ancient times. The beads were traded from Europe to Africa mostly around the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. In the sixteenth century Venice was the European centre of Glass Bead production. In the nineteenth century Amsterdam and later Czechoslovakia overtook Venice in the making of pressed porcelain beads. The Millefiori beads were made by Venetian glass-makers in the fifteenth century until the nineteenth century. The Mauritanian "Amber", old Yemenite Sliver Beads made by Jewish craftsmen, lost wax brass beads, batik bone beads, copal, like Amber an ancient tree resin, are some of the wonderful beads I use to design my necklaces. This necklace is made with antique African glass beads , amber, Ethiopian metal beads, Telsum beads, Mille Fiori beads My necklaces have a closure loop, which one can adjust to different lengths. All my necklaces are unique , not one resembles another necklace.
