This is great
Very cool device. Took me a few hours to figure out how to get some of the things to work (like Atari 2600 and older Arcade ROM's I had) but it ended up working. Screen could be slightly brighter to make reading some of the text, but never affects the games or gameplay. Tried Atari 2600, Arcade, Nintedo, SNES and Playstation 1 games and so far most run well. Definitely worth the money and got the shipment the next day.

Amazing Device!
Im actually really excited to review this. If you look this device up on google your going to find a lot of positive feedback. Its definiteltly a good quality device. The buttons are nice and have a similar feel to a playstation controller; ie silicone rubber, and good button resistance when pressed. There are litterally thousands of games on the SD card, and you can even get your own roms to add.The only downside is that there are a lot of games in japanese but definitely has a lot more in english. They also named every game file in numerical order. Ie: 003 Pokemon Yellow Version.gb etc etc. because of that when you go to scrape the games, it wont work. You litterally have to delete those numbers individually from every single game file to get good results from the scrape. *facepalm* it took hours. In terms of kid friendliness theres definitely adult games on here so youll want to find and delete them. Again theres thousands of games to go through. Youll definitely need to do some work to get this working well for a 5, 6, or 7 year old but you can get it there by switching to AmberElec and only selecting systems to play that work well, limiting the amount of available games for them etc. Basically NDS is garbage and psp, dreamcast will lag a lot so id just not even bother having those on there for them. All in all, Im glad I got it and would highly recommend. Theres plenty of youtube videos on this so check them out!

a great value
I was not expecting this to be as good as it is. I will say, this does NOT come with 2500+ games as the description says but, THATS OK. The N64 emulation has some minor graphic glitches out of the box and some very minor frameskips but is still very playable. My biggest concern was the PSP capabilities. So far playing Megaman X maverick hunter, i have had ZERO issues. (no pun intended). Im going to try different games for it in the future to see how well other titles perform. The firmware installed initially on this is not bad. Some of the game names are cut off on the screen and you have to wait for them to scroll to read the entire title. I kind of wish the device its self had a larger version. my phone is larger than this thing but for the price of it and what you are getting, this is a very good deal in my opinion as someone who tends to lean toward retro gaming.

This is a good device, but I cannot stress enough that you should watch YouTube tutorials!!
Straight out of the box, this system is good but not great. The SD card is cheap and the firmware is a few generations behind. Additionally, a lot of the features are not so easy to figure out on your own. I very strongly recommend you watch one of the YouTube tutorial videos on this device, as you'll save yourself an immense level of frustration. With that said, if you're the sort who just wants a quick game of Mario or Sonic and doesn't mind not having the ability to save game states, then just go for it.If you do want to save games and learn how to truly utilize this device, then you should buy a new SD card for it straight away (size is up to you, but 128 seems about adequate). You should then update the firmware as this will give you access to features like being able to actually save.Pros:-Good quality feel-Good screen quality-A lot of games straight out of the box-The battery life is pretty okCons:-You can't save unless you get a new SD card and update the firmware-The sound quality isn't always so great-Some systems don't play terribly well (the majority do)-After just two weeks, my batter no longer seems to hold a full charge
