Q: Does anyone have any experience using this for an electric space heater? I have a space heater that I don't completely trust to turn off at the unit.

I'm using one on a 500 watt (4.17 Amperes) radiant heater. I installed it after less expensive 6 amp rated switches repeatedly failed. So far (about 2 weeks) it works fine and does not get warm in service like the 6 amp ones did. It is a bit of work to install: there are no instructions and you have to attach the included female spade connectors to the cord before pressing them onto the switch spade lugs. The spade connectors can be crimped to the wire, but I soldered mine anyway, just to be sure.

Q: The spec printed on the device says it is rated for 30 amps at 125 volts, but the Amazon spec says 20 amps. Which is it?

20 amp @220 I believe, 30amp @125

Q: I've got a ground wire in the cord i plan to use. how would i rout the ground wire? iow is there room for it to go straight through inside the switch?
