The Emerald Home Nola Accent Chair (Dixon Nougat) arrived on time and is visually appealing. I think it "appears" more expensive than the $250.41 that I paid; however it looks slightly shorter and wider proportionately that it does in the featured photo in my opinion. This is not a negative, I like the look as is. I am only rating the chair 2 stars because it tips easily. We have had the chair a little less than a month and several adult guests have had a bit of a scare as they sat down and the chair tipped backward. My husband and I are most concerned for the safety of grandchildren in regard to using this chair. It is only because of safety concerns that I do not rate this chair higher. It is attractive and comfortable. I believe the chair should be redesigned with slight changes for safety reasons. Although I would like very much to recommend this chair to you, I cannot neglect to inform you of the chair's tendency to rock backward unexpectedly upon sitting.

Wow! Where do I start? For starters, If I am taking the time to leave you a review you have done something horribly wrong, because I don't like wasting my time on frivolous activities. And the fact that I am leaving you a review means I no longer see this as a frivolous activity because I now feel like it is my obligation, to other people considering this chair, to inform them to what a horrible product this really is.Shipping: they literally place these chairs in a flemsy cardboard box with basically no protection at all. Expect rub marks and rub tears from the fact that the chairs are loose inside the box with no protection. I had several places on mine from poor shipping practices. Expect the boxes to be heavily damaged upon arrival due to the fact that this company is exceeding the reasonable expectations of a general shipping box meant for light weight general items.Assembly: The chairs come with the four legs detached, all you have to do is simply attach these four legs and your done. Good luck, I am a 6 foot 4 inch tall, 240lb, 38 year old man. I am an ex jet mechanic that's very good with his hands and above average intelligence. These chairs almost got the best of me! It took me just under 4 hours and a lot of stubbornness and refusal to give up before finishing. Problems include but are not limited to: 1. Holes on the chair don't line up with the holes on the legs . 2. The square space on the chair for the upper part of the legs to fit in are not the correct size with absolutely zero consistency, you will need a wood file and brute force. 3. There are sometimes staples through the holes that the bolts go through to secure the legs to the chair. You will need some needle-nose pliers to attempt working those nails out of the way so the bolt can pass through. 4. Due to this companies zero tolerance policy on consistency, there will be some legs you can only attach with one bolt instead of the two it's supposed to have. This will inevitably lead to failure much soon than otherwise anticipated. 5. I am ashamed to say and this company should be ashamed to advertise that this product is made in America, unfortunately this American company is highly allergic to craftsmanship.Comfort: below average but not to badLook / feel / style: the chairs look amazing and feel good to the touch. This is the category you earned your 1 star from.

I first saw this chair online but was hesitant to buy it without sitting in it first. I Finally found it in a local store and was able to try it out.. It was wonderfully comfortable and seemed well constructed. It looked exactly like the online images, but it was 60.00 more at the store. I was still hesitant to buy online as i had never ordered anything that big or expensive from Amazon, but I took the plunge and wasn't sorry. It came promptly, as Amazon items always do. It was in perfect condition. Best of all , it fits right in in my little prairie bungalow. Thanks Amazon!

Solid construction, easy set up. Below the two hundred mark, this chair is a solid value with a nice mix of comfort & style. A keeper.

I bought these for our new office and the look fantastic for the price. They sit a little lot but that is not a big deal.

These chairs are attractive and comfortable. We bought two floor models from our local furniture store. Unfortunately, even though they have been out of the box a while they still had a strong chemical smell in our home. You can see from the pic. of the tag that they off gas formaldehyde. Thankfully they have no additional fire retardent chemicals. Also their is a textile waste material of unknown origin in the materials list. It likely should be illegal to sell chairs with this type of materials as who knows what you are being exposed to. We thought we were buying new chairs that would not outgas noxious chemicals into our home.We returned them.
