These aids have been indispensable since hip surgery. I use the grabber for everything. Shoe horn works well. I am fascinated by the sock device. Don't know who invented it but it actually works! Not impressed with shower wand. A regular bath brush is better.

The grabber piece was received damaged, was twisted with dent. Box was intact, so I assume was defective. Getting a replacement, hopefully will not be defective.

Hip replacement surgery and prior to it I was using these items. Bending over to pick up something from the floor did not happen. the gripper pick-er-upper gets used a lot, a well thought out device. The stick with the hooks on the end has also seen a lot of use, helps with pants shoes etc. The Sock put-er-on-er takes some cajoling, coaxing and multiple tries to get the system. I have to push as much of the sock as possible onto the tube then shove my foot as far as possible (to the toe of the sock), then pull the sock put-er-on-er up. The little foam pad floating around in the bag goes on the bottom side of the sock end. This is what pulls the sock on, otherwise you pull the tube out and ya got a wad of sock half on your foot. The sponge-on-a-steek works ok. It allows soap to go places where it hasn't been for a while. The handle is a tad light, so can't really bear down and scrape the barnacles off without fear of the handle failing. But it does work and certainly works better than wishing I could reach my feet. A worthy purchase, definitely made arduous chores easier. I haven't used/needed the elastic laces or the shoe horn...Yet. The shoe horn did get spider up in the back corner of the closet, but has not seen a shoe yet.

These items really helped me get through my hip replacement! Do not hesitate to order if you are heading for hip replacement you will be glad you did.

I traded in a total plastic grabber for this one in this set. Big mistake. Looked like my old faithful one i had for years but it was a fake! Doesn't close all the way at the tip so basically useless. Only good for hooking something by a fabric or paper handle being careful it doesn't break the grabber.

I purchased this before my hip replacement surgery. It has everything that you need to help in your rehabilitation. The grabber is the best tool. It is light but lifts heavy items just as well as the very smallest item. I use the grabber several times a day. The tool is very helpful with your socks. I have used everything in this kit. Great value!

This set has a long metal shoe horn, a plastic sock aid, a long reacher tool, a bath brush, two sets of elastic shoe laces and a wood stick with dressing aid hooks at each end. All items seem to be of good quality and I found them very useful (I'm disabled) and it was nice to get many useful items in one set. Price was reasonable. I recommend this item.
