I recently tried out this step that folds and unfolds easily, and it’s a game-changer for reaching higher places. It's not just for kids; adults will find it incredibly useful too. I had been using a child’s plastic step up for years ( usually used by toddlers for toilet!) Obviously, this finally died the death, and then I was stranded. I’m a plump woman in her 70s, just shy of 5’ in height…..getting to those high shelves in the kitchen cupboards is always awkward, and dragging out the steps is such a pain. So I was delighted to be able to purchase this and have it delivered the next day. It is exactly as described; very easy to unfold, fold, lift and carry, store etc. it is also sturdy, and non slip. ( I once bough something similar from a well known kitchen goods supplier, and I could neither unfold it, nor, once it was opened, fold it without nipping my fingers- I had to return it. No danger with this folding wee gem) . My only slight problem - and it is totally my fault- is that it is just slightly too high! I never realised that stepping up to a 9” step could be so awkward, and I do have to make sure that I have something to hold on to. Now that is totally my issue, bad knee, generally arthritic, etc, plus not realising the previous step up was only about a 5” height! I can manage, and am well pleased with this very helpful, sturdy and easily stored aid to my lack of height.

Bought this when my stubborn elderly mother let slip ( ha ha pun) she’d been dragging chairs to get up to a shelf. It seems really easy to fold, click tight and strong, also small enough to store. It’s high enough for our needs though I’d recommend you won’t need to go higher & so check measurements carefully.

This is very well made and very safe to stand on. It looks so sweet and folds away anywhere. I would recommend this to anyone.👍

I needed a portable footstool for my house. I'm a little short and I'm tired of my feet dangling off of chairs like I'm living in a giant's house. This is GREAT for quickly setting up and giving me a way to slightly elevate my legs without hurting my back, and taking it around the house. Because it's hard plastic, I just toss a small pillow or folded throw blanket on top of it to cushion my heels. It doesn't slip on hardwood floors or carpet - so nice!!While not a downside for me, it folds up a little TOO easily by picking it up by the carrying handle, so it can take a little to get used to. The folded size is great too - it's small and compact and can hide behind most anything. I haven't stood on it yet, but I suppose it would be ok for most people.
