I like the length of the probe as I use this mostly on the grill. I also like the magnet on the back so I can stick it on the side of the fridge. Always easily within reach without having to rummage through a drawer. Seems to rapidly show the temperature...I'd say within 3-4 seconds. Overall very happy with the purchase.

Looks nice, has a good hand-feel. Out of box it does not work. Instructions say to "remove battery sleeve" for it to function. There is no battery sleeve. I suspect it's a dead battery, but it's supposed to come with a working one. Not impressed.

I bought this to use for candle making and it works great!

The thermometer is longer than the usual ones you find, the temperature is as with any other device, gradually.But the head of the thermometer is heavy, so most of the times you can't leave it in a small pan or a small bowl because it will fall and eventually splash your mixture, the syrup you're cooking, everywhere.Also, the on/off button needs to be pressed too heavilyfor a couple of seconds, although the button is protected cause inside the ring.I will not buy it again.

Doesn't work. Waited a couple of days for this only to open it and find it won't turn on. I have a feeling the battery is dead, but I'm not aout to spend a few more dollars when battery was included. Also says it goes to 350F degrees but manual says 300F. I bought it for checking oil and usually that needs to be 350F. Get what you pay for. Cheap price will get you junk.
