UniqueMe 8 Pack for Apple Watch Series 9/8/7 41mm Screen Protector

Completely amazed. I ordered these and I researched and read reviews and I also ordered some other brand watch protector thing that came in a case for the entire watch. I opened it tried it for a few minutes and I still need to send it back. I ordered a different kind also in a case that I haven’t even opened yet . This is Because since I put this protector screen on my watch, I have not had a need for anything else. I really didn’t have that much faith in it even though the reviews were pretty good but this thing has been amazing. I’ve had it on since I purchased my Apple Watch series 10 about three weeks ago. I have been able to wear this swimming in my pool and underwater and it stays on. I can use it while I’m in the water. Nothing about this at all interferes with using the watch. This does not interfere with touching the screen like the other one that I’m going to send back from the other company where I couldn’t even make the screen work. This little watch cover came with a kit that made it easy to put on and it came with several others I think it came with four or five other pieces if this one fails. This one has not failed so I haven’t even had to take it the others out of its location since I put it on. I’m also including a few pictures of my old watch my Apple Watch five that I wore for years without a screen protector because I tried one really bad brand once and I didn’t like it and I never even considered another one. This time with the new watch I wanted to really make sure that I was able to protect the screen and I feel a very confident that I made the right choice with this purchase. If anything happens and I go through the ones that I purchased then I will easily purchase another package of these. I do recommend these. I really was skeptical and didn’t think it would work and you can see by the pictures of my former watch. I’m not going to have that problem with this watch And with this protector that I’m wearing. The other brand that I got if I don’t send it back I actually thought about cutting out their little piece of glass and using this but I think that’s going to be a little too much. The other brand I bought has a glass protector and a cover that goes over the entire watch but the screen for the watch would not work at all. I only had it on for a short time before I took it off put it back in the package and put this one on. This is my honest opinion and I am very happy with this. I was so skeptical about it but I have proved myself to be wrong. This is the best screen protector for a watch. I am also really hard on things and I’m the type of person that’s going to walk down the hallway with my watch face brushing against the wall or if I’m near concrete my watch face with clumsy hit the brick wall in my backyard while emptying the Pool leaf bin. As visible in the old watch that’s one of the things that happened is the screen got scratched from walking down the hallway or sitting at my desk or brushing against the brick wall in my yard by the pool pump. I’m not going to say that this thing is bulletproof by any means however I cannot state enough how this is the absolute best way to go. I say just buy it you will not regret it. I certainly don’t and it was not my first choice but now it’s my only choice ,it’s the only one that I want to protect my watch screen. There is no problem at all with image quality. There is no glare. I don’t even realize it’s there.

This type of screen protector does work well, even though they are thin. These are our favorite kind of screen protectors because they are compatible with most watch cases we use and do not interfere with the fit. They also do not interfere with the touch screen. This film is easy to apply and has a flawless finish. Some film will have lines or streaks in the surface, but you can’t tell these are on. If you do have to reapply, and you will eventually, they give you plenty and they are reasonably priced. NO screen protector lasts forever, but these last long enough. Tip: Make sure you are somewhere with clean air. Dust and debris in the air will interfere with your application. Don’t stir up the air, paying special attention to fabric, hair, and pets that harbor a lot of microscopic debris. Clean the area and surface well before application. I recommend a bumper case with these protectors. It protects your watch and keeps the edges of the screen protector from lifting over time.

Once you get the hang of the installation, it is easy and you can get the worst of the bubbles out pretty easily. Some may take a day or two to disappear. The good thing is that the stretchy TPU goes over the curves on the edges readily and sticks right away. I have used others where you spray a liquid on the protector and it is a chore to get it to finally stick. Once you look at the video and try it once, it is easy enough to put on this protector. It is not glass and you can still destroy your watch by whacking the face. I have taken to facing the watch on the inside of my wrist. (Okay, it makes Apple Pay awkward, but I don’t accidentally hit the watch nearly as often.) The TPU is a slightly tacky so it feels a bit different than a glass face but it works just fine. The one downside is that, depending on one's usage, the edges of the protector eventually start to get a little dust under them and the protector won’t stick in one place and eventually it will bother you enough to finally yank it off and put another clean one on. That’s why I ended up using 7/8 in a year. I have tried the glass protectors with the curved edges and after a while dust starts to get under those as well, so if you don't need to have the hard glass protection, this TPU protector is more economical and easy. YMMV.

The new Series 8 iWatch has a beautiful display even on the lowest brightness setting. The UniqueMe Clear screen protector just seems to enhance the display while protecting it. The touch sensitivity is fine with the protector installed. They include 8 in the package. It is a TPU material which is a soft flexible plastic and they say is self healing, so we will see. They are actually very easy to install once you get the hang of it. I used 2 of the black to figure it out. However, the clear I installed went on easily & with no air bubbles. Believe me when I say I am not the steadiest hands in the house, especially with small meticulous things like a small screen protector. I am very pleased with clear screen protectors so far. I had originally ordered the Black screen protectors & after installing one (ok it took 2 the 1st time) I could not see my watch display very well unless on the brightest setting. This of course drains the battery faster. UniqueMe/Amazon accepted my return & refunded my money promptly. I ordered the clear screen protectors which cost 1/2 the price of the black. 3/10/23 Update I have had to replace the 1st screen protector I installed due to damage to the 1st one. It lasted about 2 weeks but in my line of work I am not surprised. I am on construction sites during the day & sometimes my watch may take a hit against framing, drywall, HVAC, etc. Just stuff in, on & around new home construction. At least I had the protector on & it wasn't the actual screen taking a "ding". 4/25/24 Here is an update on my current thoughts for the Unique TPU screen Protectors. I have just reordered another package of 8. The original package of 8 lasted about a year. I am paying around $9.00 for a package of 8 which is fine with me. These soft to the touch screen protectors are perfect for me. I am in & out of construction sites that are dusty & full of opportunities to nick my screen. These take a beating & have saved my screen over the past year & I will continue to use them as long as they are available for this reasonable cost. I highly recommend them to anyone on the fence trying to decide if they are right for them. Uniqueme/Amazon also stepped up on my 1st purchased when I ordered the black instead of the clear protectors & made it right for me.

I have tried many screen protectors in all the Apple Watches I ever owned from upgrading to Apple’s newest. They were all the exact same ones, just in different packaging I would say made by the same manufacturer. They were the ones that had a black plastic border coming in a pack of two where you peeled off the inner plastic, aligned it, and it stayed on the sides of the Watch. They always cracked or if any water got on the watch moisture was trapped underneath them and had to use a hair dryer to warm it up to get rid of it. Pressing on my watch they did not always respond to the first touch and pressing on the corners took multiple attempts to go back to the previous screen. Yes they were nice protecting my watch but always cracking, moisture underneath them, and multiple pressing in the screen got annoying. I decided to give these a try with my Series 7 watch and very, very glad I did. I usually never write reviews, but in these I had to do people would know with me trying other’s I feel these are the best. When I applied it I was not even sure if the plastic film stuck on with how perfect it was and not one single bubble, which I forgot to mention about ones above always having bubbles. With not being sure I shined a bright flashlight on my watch and seen yes it did apply that perfect with not one bubble. My watch functions 100% perfect with any press on it anywhere, unlike the hard plastic ones I was purchasing finding those were the best until finding these. No matter where I press on the face even on the corners it responds perfect like their was no screen protector on it. Scrolling is smooth as can be and feel it is better with this screen protector film then with not having one on it. Also, unlike other’s you do not have to do a hard press with your finger and the slightest touch allows the watch to respond. They are very, very fingerprint resistant too and rarely ever have to use a cleaning spray and cloth on the face. I waited to write this to see with how nice all above is how durable they are to protect my watch, hence the reason for putting a screen protector on. I do a lot of work with fixing things and that is how I cracked the others ones or scratched them and wanted to see how these held up. I do take off my wat h when I know I will be putting my hand in something that could be sharp or confined not to scratch my watch, plus get my hand in easier putting it in my pocket. I am still on my first one with all you get in a package and amazed how tough the film is being so scratch resistant. I know if my watch took a hard hit getting whacked with me doing something, reached into something with a very sharp edge, that no screen protector could ever protect it from damage with all of them having their limitations. I know and everyone reading this should know nothing but taking it off and putting in in your pocket or setting it down to the side could ever prevent the faces from getting damaged or scratched. These will for sure and put one on well over a month ago will protect the face protect the face guaranteed and still not one scratch on film. Here is a tip for putting these on or any screen protector to make a dust free environment if your washroom has a fan. Apply all screen protectors in the washroom setting everything up you will need. Obviously keep the shower curtain closed and the door closed and steam up your washroom a little bit running the shower, but don’t over do it steaming it up completely and a little is all it takes. With your fan running any dust particles that could fall on to anything you are putting a screen protector on they cling to the moisture like a magnet and the fan gets them out. I shine a bright flashlight when putting any on to see if dust is still floating around and when all clear make sure you turn off your fan. Very important. If you leave it running the air removed will be replaced by air that has dust. It is impossible to create a dust free environment just like when the manufacture things, but this works great and rarely ever have a dust particle under any I ever put on. I do shine a flashlight on what I am putting it on and have the little sticky tape all ready to go and this is beyond important. Never let your screen protector you are putting on face up or take to long EVER!!! When you take off the protective film from the side that applies to what you are putting it on you just statically charged it and any dust by it will go to it like a magnet sticking to it. This is why be all setup and ready to go and have that piece of sticky tape ready go and here is why. The cleaning cloths they give you to wipe are cheap junk loaded with dust particles that you want off and not on, and the sticky tape you get will remove any dust. This is how I do mine and other peoples and they always turn out perfect. Light is crucial so you can see what you are doing and brighter the better as why I always use a flashlight that stands up and the LED light I can adjust any possible way I want and have it shining down on what I am putting one on.

First off, these screen protectors are nice and thin, and can barely be seen on the watch face, but they are not the best quality. If you are just looking for a simple screen cover that will keep the scratches off, then this is your item. You do get what you pay for here definitely the value for your money. I used these both for my watch and my husbands and for him after a few weeks his started to pull up in the corner like it got caught on his pants pocket or something and mine somehow ripped and tore in the top corner. I found it very simple to put them on as well and there is no color to them. keeping them clean is very simple just wipe it off with a wet towel or something of that sort. One good thing though is they did fit perfectly to the screen of both the 44mm watch and the 46 mm watch as well.

These are not worth the purchase. They give you an 8 pack for the price for a reason. You will end up using all of them within months because it peels up from the edges quickly. The installation was not clear so you will end up using 2 or 3 of them just to get it installed. Once it’s on it initially looks good but after a few hours the edges will peel up. The touch screen works well while it’s on and it does give some screen protection while it’s on from minor scratches to the screen but it won’t last long. I was sent 8 protectors and within days I am down to 4. I used 2 trying to install it. The 3rd one I managed to get it on and got the bubbles out. It looked secure but after a few hours the screen protector did not stay secure to the curved edges of the watch. I had to use another one and try again. This time I got it directly in the middle of the watch to avoid the edges curving but the size of the screen protector manages to reach a little of the curved area and again it peeled up within hours. I ended up taking it off and might try to install a 5th one if I feel up to it but for now I’m going to take my chances without it. I would not recommend this or buy this again.

Watch the video before attempting the install. I wasted a couple screen protectors because I failed to watch the video. Once I watched it, it was the easiest installation I’ve experienced and they last a long time.

Once you figure out how to put the screen protector on, it's easy. The instructions say watch the video, but it doesn't match the product, so don't bother. They are good quality, but like all other silicone gel protectors, they start peeling off the edges of the Apple watch face in a few weeks. Good thing they are inexpensive. Buy a couple of packs so you have plenty of spares.

This screen protector is absolutely fantastic for my watch. The installation was incredibly easy, and it went on completely bubble-free with perfect alignment. It is crystal clear, so you can't even tell it's on there, and the touchscreen is still 100% responsive. It has already saved my watch face from a couple of nasty scratches. Highly recommend for keeping your screen pristine!
