I purchased the book edition but I was offered the opportunity to download the kindle edition which I did and immediately started to read it.I have purchased many of these type of books in the past and from a rookie's standpoint this book is one of the best I have read. It does not contain any complicated language that leaves you scratching your head and feeling hopeless. This is a step by step book with detailed explanations and real examples of homes he has rehabbed.Brant is a true example of an American success story who did not inherit his money.This book should be sold for 3 times what its selling for.You wont be disappointed in this book. However, you can read 50 good books like this one but if you don't "just do it" then you just spent your money on another book for your library.As Brant mentions in this book start with a small rehab project where you can make 5-10k to gain some confidence and ease that fear of failure.Bless,

This is one of the best book that I have read about flipping houses. Brant just knows how to put everything in a very simple and easy- to-understand way. Brant walks you through all necessary steps of flipping a house for profit. He shows you most of the common mistakes that new investors likely fall into. Many great tips on rehabs, finding a deal, financing, planning, his brilliant exit strategy.The best tip I learned from Brant's book is WHY he wanted to flip houses. We must have a damn good reason to get into this flipping business if not, we will run away from the troubles as soon as we face them.This book is the best $10 that I have every spent.I strongly recommend anyone who invest in real estate to read this book.I have read it 3 times already and taken a lot of notes. If your aspiration includes learning to flip RE property, this book provides a "easy to learn" guide. In my case, I've read countless books on buying and selling properties but due I'm sure to fear of failure (like so many others) I've back paddled for so long, Brant provides inspiration to take small steps and focus on what is important. Read his book that shows he started out in our shoes and developed a workable step by step system to rid his fear of failure. His advice has given me that encouragement as I now have lined up five houses working with a RE Broker who gave up trying to sell rehabs and now turns them over to me. All I can say is, give Brant a shot and maybe, just maybe, you'll be on the path to your first of many find, fix and flips. I'm finding and flipping first and believe me, they are everywhere.

Excellent book for starter to mid-level degrees of experience in flipping houses. But even very experienced flippers will learn a thing or two.I have some experience in one narrow aspect of the business, and have gained some knowledge from other sources in other areas. Brant's advice is sound. Brant has a reputation of being a doer, not just as a teacher.If you are 100% committed to flipping, motivational part of the book may not add value, but the reality is that the motivational part is critical for some readers. I have seen numerous people spend thousands of dollars on learning techniques, but let it go to waste because they do not get motoivated.

The first 26 pages could be summarized (like every other flip or REI book):"Hated my job, needed better lifestyle, met a dude who knew what he was doing w REI, I was broke but figured out a way to buy a house with a credit card down payment, it worked, get a team together, join a local club, motivational fluff, you can do it too."If you're interested enough to purchase a book you don't need to be convinced about the pros / or even briefly educated about the cons of REI.I wish he summarized pages 0-26 into 2 pages.The other info is decent but not what you can't get online. It's nice to have it all in one place though.Read: The Real Estate Rehab Investing Bible. More concise, and edited better.

I love this book, it gave me a lot knowledge and ideas on how to get started on flipping houses, I currently own rental properties but now I am going to start flipping houses so that I can quit from my job a lot sooner than I had planned and I will increase my real estate portfolio along the way to have more passive income. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in real estate and flipping houses, after reading this book I am now more motivated than ever to start living the life that I always wanted, thanks Brandt.

I liked the fundamentals explained in detail throughout the book. I felt the examples were key to explaining the process of obtaining, funding, rehabbing, and flipping a property.I felt the author was sincere and careful to not exaggerate the business of successfully flipping a house.I believe this is a good book for people who have thought of flipping a house after watching popular tv shows on flipping houses.I really enjoyed reading this book and would highly recommend it.

Brant covers the fundamentals very clearly. His advice is sound and detailed. I've been there as both an owner builder and rehabber.No question that new residential construction is a completely different animal than updating/repairing an older home. Rehabbing for profit is an art and requires having a well planned budget, timeline & exit strategy to maximize your ROI.Brant lays out the whole process quite well. The five phases of a rehab are worth the price alone. If you're serious about flipping a house, read this book through at least twice. Then, review each chapter as you find yourself face-to-face with each phase: Deal Flow, Evaluating Deals, Estimating Repairs, Going Under Contract, Financing, Rehabbing, Flipping & Closing.
