Crumbly, but even the crumbs are tasty!
Very sweet, nice designs, cut rock is the king of old-fashioned candy. Nice spice tastes clove, lemon, sassafrass.

Didn't like licorice
I gave a low rate on flavor because, I (personally) do not like licorice of any kind.I couldn't find the exact color that had licorice flavoring so I could pick them out. Looks like they will be put away and given to our grandkids.

Ok. But nothing special and not like what I could get 20-30 years ago.
It's ok. Not remotely like candies of old. The 3 flavors you get the most of (Lemon, Orange, Lime) are light in flavor and more akin to what you'd find in a pack of LifeSavers. The other flavors are better, but represent less than 1/3 of the package by volume. And compared to what I used to be able to get, somewhat lacking in quality and intensity of flavor. Even the Peppermint is on the weak side (and not much of it). And after all, the most expensive ingredients are the flavorings...and these were not expensive candies (particularly taking into account the cost of the Prime Shipping). So guess you get what you pay for (if you're lucky). Still I wish I could find (at double or triple the cost) similar candies that actually had more than a smidden of those "Expensive" flavorings.

Good candy, but bad packaging
2 order for these candies. First two bags were great! These last two were mostly crushed to dust. More than 1/2 of each bag was crushed. May not be the fault of the maker, but am not ordering again given the state of the product at delivery. Very tasty candy though, so it’s a shame that it’s so easily crushed.

Like I remember from my teenage years
This “ribbon candy” looks a little different than what I remember from many years ago, but it is still the sweet hard candy I loved growing up. However, the price is significantly higher than the “penny candy” from my youth. Just sugar and flavoring and brings back lots of great memories.

Traditional Christmas candy
Christmas isn't Christmas without cut-rock candy. I buy it every year.
