Product Description: **Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen (SWCC) Compass Challenge Coin** Front: The theme of the coin is in the shape of a nautical compass as it is a symbol of one of the key skill sets for SWCC operators and traditionally a nautical compass is present to each graduate of the SWCC selection course as a reminder to maintain their moral heading. The front includes the Special Warfare Boat Operator (SB) rating badge and the SWCC motto "On time, On target, Never quit!". Also, the deck plating is a symbol that represents “Raised from the Deck Plates and Deck Plate Leadership” as all SWCC’s start as enlisted and graduate for the same selection course. Back: The back highlights country and teams. The top (north) is the Special Operations Command (SOCOM) symbol and the number (4) to represent Naval Special Warfare Group-FOUR (NSWG-4). West is for Special Boat Team-12 (SBT), East is for SBT-20, and South is for SBT-22 as the cardinal directions represent the Teams relative location in the U.S. The center is the American flag with the Union Jack (Don’t Tread on Me) to represent Naval Special Warfare’s dedication to being guardian of freedom and the American way of life and finally the banner with "God, Country, and Fast Boats" which is the SBT’s command theme. Additionally, NSW is also fighting the war on terrorism in other global hot spots including the Philippines and the Horn of Africa.
