I have used this toothbrush for years. My dentist always compliments my dental care. My toothbrush of 15 years broke so this was a replacement and I am once again very happy with this product. I like Colgate tartar control toothpaste with this toothbrush.

Broxo ToothbrushDuring the nineties, the batteries on the wireless toothbrushes did not last very long. So, I thought it would be better to have a toothbrush with wires attached. This is how I found Broxo.In the 2000's, I had purchased two of the Broxo's. They seemed to last a long time but then they seemed to lose power. Upon examining the cords, I found that the cords had become twisted.So, I contacted Broxo to find out if there was a local repair shop or if Broxo could repair them. They indicated that the Broxo's I had--beige--were the wrong color--the new ones were white. They also indicated that they had some cords left over and that the cords could be put on the Broxo's I had. All I had to do was mail the toothbrushes to them.Well, I mailed them to Broxo. It cost me $30 including $300 insurance. I had purchased a new white Broxo that cost me $140 so I knew that $300 would protect me if the toothbrushes were damaged in shipping.About a week later, I got a phone call. Broxo indicated that both toothbrushes were bad and they could not repair them but if I wanted to buy another one, they would give me $10 off.This $10 would not even cover the $30 postage I paid for shipping.In the mean time I had a new Broxo. Talk about cheap construction, this one had a tin switch to control the speed. This fell off when I was brushing my teeth. Now, my wife is afraid we will get electrocuted when we are using it.For a rating, I would have to give Broxo no stars out of five. Would I buy another one? Heck, no.

I first found out about this brand because a porn director I know of uses them for sex toys. LOL. I since found out they are actually are the first sonic toothbrush, predating the more well known Sonicare. Not sure why they missed the mass market. Anyway, since I saw it in the, uh, video, I decided, what the heck, check out the product. I read their website. Now, of course their facts and figures are going to support their product (duh!) But, it sounded interesting. They claimed to have clinical data showing their product several times better than the competitors such as Sonicare. Again, of course, they are a biased source. But, I decided what the heck, might as well try it.So, I have it. I can't honestly tell if it is any better than a Sonicare, which I used to have. But, I don't think it is any worse. And, perhaps it is better.Now, they have a philosophy that they don't like batteries, the metals in the batteries. So it has a cord. It has advantages and disadvantages. But, I really dislike coiled cords, They put a little bit of tension. Not a lot of course, but, since you are navigating the brush in your mouth and having a little tug on your hand is a bit annoying. In fact, I might replace the cord, although of course that would void warranty.The transformer says it is only 215 milliamps. 28 gauge wire (very small wire) would suffice for that. But the cord seems to be 16 or 18 gauge, a lot bigger than necessary. Putting a 6 foot straight 28 gauge line on it would make it a lot nicer. Of course wire that small would be easy to break. But, it would be easy to replace again.Which brings me to one other little quibble. The cord is hard wired into the transformer and brush handle. My little project of replacing the cord would be easier if it originally came with a replaceable cord. In fact, that could be a small revenue stream for them. Do exactly what I suggest, make it have replacable small wire cord. And if a customer damages the cord, just sell them a replacement cord for $15 or so.I've been experimenting with using the Emmi-dent Nano Bubbles toothpaste. It is designed for their ultrasonic toothbrush, which is very different. But, it claims to have 0 abrasion, I might even someday try their brush. But, from the description of how it works, well, I think I like regular sonic toothbrushes better. So, the toothpaste isn't really designed for this brush, but, I think it works good with it anyway. At least it seems to.

This is the best electric toothbrush ever! Had my original one from 1966. I recently had to purchase a new one, last year, because my original one fell on the tile floor and the case broke, also, I could no longer find refill brushes for it. I was without one for some time and switched to a regular toothbrush and tried other electric/battery toothbrushes. It was then that I began having dental issues. As soon as I got the new one, my teeth were silky smooth and the dentist and dental hygienist always complimented me on my "toothcare". Even my cleanings at the dentist were faster, easier and believe it or not, further apart! I loooooove my Broxo! I'm now 72 and carry it with me even when I travel. :)

My parents gave me this toothbrush sometime around 1995. I can't remember the exact year, but I know it was before 1996. I'm still using this electric toothbrush two times per day, and it's going strong (it's currently 2012, as I write this review). The plastic casing started cracking around 2009 and a little tape has held it together just fine since then. I'm starting to notice an occasional stutter in the vibrating when I turn the brush upside down in my mouth, but it's not consistant and not a big deal. Regardless, I've clearly gotten my investment out of this brush. I've never had a product last this long my entire life.1/17/13 UPDATE: I finally replaced this brush at the very end of 2012, which means I had this toothbrush for at least 17 years (minimum!). Absolutely worth the original investment, whatever it was (it was a gift!). It technically still works it's just that the occasional stutter when turning it upside down was getting annoying.

this was a great product until it was made by Swiss people,it was then moved to China,,I bought 2 of them,poor quality,underpowered,!!!

Moteur silencieux et puissant, les brossettes sont d'excellente qualité et durent longtemps (1an environ). Cette brosse laisse les dents parfaitement lisses sans appuyer fort, c'est subtil. Le débattement de la brossette est génial. Il y a trois niveaux de puissance et personnellement le niveau 1 suffit au quotidien, les niveaux 2 et 3 servent a faire un sorte de détartrage si jamais on a pas pu se brosser les dents au repas précédent, voire le jour d'avant. Filaire donc pas besoin de la charger, pas de perte de la capacité de la batterie. Excellen produit, bravo a Broxo, ils maitrisent leur sujet du point de vue technique, rien a voir avec la camelotte d'oralB.Seul bémol : la durabilité du cable. Je le trouve trop fragile, il faut bien le détordre apres chaque brossage car sinon il y a un risque de le casser a force. Il est dit dans la notice que ce cable n'est pas réparable, un peu dommage pour la durabilté si on ne fait pas attention.

Cuesta acostumbrarse un poco pero en 1 semana listo. Se nota que limpia muy bien. El lado negativo es el cable que te limita un poco el movimiento segun donde tengas los enchufes.

Auparavant, j'avais une brosse oral B à tête ronde de milieu de gamme et j'ai eu beaucoup de problèmes : batterie qui ne tient que très peu de temps et qui faiblit immédiatement, impossible de nettoyer l'espace intérieur de la tête où finissent par se développer très rapidement de sales bactéries, brossage assez peu efficace, problèmes de gencives récurrents,...Je me suis donc beaucoup documenté et j'ai choisi cette broxo et je ne regrette vraiment pas : elle est vraiment très performante et ses performances sont constantes puisqu'elle est branchée sur secteur. Mes dents sont vraiment beaucoup plus propres qu'avec l'Oral B, surtout entre les dents. De plus, on peut la nettoyer entièrement et très facilement donc aucun problème d'hygiène.Mes gencives se portent vraiment très bien depuis que je l'utilise : il m'a fallu passer par les différentes forces de brossage (1 à 3) mais maintenant je peux me brosser en force 3 sans même le sentir tellement mes gencives se sont renforcées.En somme, vraiment le must de la brosse à dent et non un simple objet marketing comme beaucoup de ses concurrentes !"Highly recommended" *****

J'utilise des brosses à dents Braun/Oral-B depuis plusieurs décennies. Depuis 2 ans, j'utilise aussi, en alternance, une brosse Emmi-dent ultrasonique. A l'époque, il y avait peu d'avis disponibles pour cette brosse... Mon dentiste ne la connaissait pas et m'avait conseillé, déjà, Broxo. Je n'avais pas donné suite car j'étais rebuté par le fait que cette brosse soit filaire et non sur accus. Depuis, les avis négatifs relatifs à Emmi-dent se sont multipliés et j'ai finalement décidé d'acheter une OraBrush de Broxo, malgré mes réticences, plutôt que de réapprovisionner des brossettes Emmi-dent.Dès la première utilisation, j'ai immédiatement constaté une amélioration sensible du brossage. C'est, réellement, le meilleur système que j'aie utilisé à ce jour et je suis très satisfait.Je ne mets toutefois que 4 étoiles. La 5ème sera décernée à une hypothétique Broxo sur accus si celle-ci arrive un jour. En effet, à une époque où les batteries lithium-ion se généralisent sur de l'outillage portatif demandant plus de puissance qu'une brosse à dents, je ne comprendrais pas que celle-ci se fasse attendre trop longtemps.En résumé :Avantages :- Le meilleur brossage obtenu à ce jour.- Brosse conseillée par mon dentiste.- Le concepteur suisse semble bien maîtriser l'assembleur chinois, car l'objet est d'excellente facture et donne une impression de robustesse, sans doute renforcée par le poids du moteur (220 g pour la Broxo à rapprocher de 120 g pour mon Oral-B et 100 g pour Emmi-dent).Inconvénients :- Brosse filaire.- Fil un peu court qui, dans mon cas, nécessite l'utilisation d'une rallonge, ce qui n'est pas conseillé dans une salle de bains... De plus les cordons du type téléphone ont une fâcheuse tendance aux "tortillons inverses"...2 remarques :1) Sur le site Amazon, les brossettes souples sont illustrées par des packs de brossettes médium.2) Arkebion conseille un dentifrice avec un indice RDA inférieur ou égal à 20. Je n'ai pas trouvé un seul emballage de dentifrice indiquant l'indice RDA. Sur les différents sites, l'information ne figure généralement pas, même chez Arkebion ! J'ai toutefois trouvé Candida Sensitive à 20 vendu en Suisse, et Weleda, sur ma demande, m'a indiqué que Weleda Saline avait un RDA de 15 (ce qui confirme l'assertion sur le site Arkebion). Je pense pouvoir utiliser les 3 tubes de dentifrice Emmi-dent qui me restent et qui sont indiqués avec un RDA de 0 (sur le site Emmi-dent). Mon pharmacien ne connaissait pas l'existence de cet indice et va faire des recherches... J'ai également contacté Schwarzkopf & Henkel qui propose une gamme de dentifrices spécifiques pour brosses électriques (emballage illustré par une brossette Oral-B) : le renseignement n'est pas disponible, LE spécialiste au courant ne sera pas de retour avant fin mai...

C'est un très bonne brosse à dent qui justifie totalement son prix, et ça fait plaisir.Le service d'ARKEBION est irréprochable, merci à eux.Points forts :- Ergonomie : sans fioritures, nettoyage de la brosse facile, pas de caoutchouc qui finit par sécher ou pourrir- Puissante et très douce à la fois- Très solide, entretient facile, bouton incassable (le bouton est un aimant que l'on déplace et le corps de la brosse à dents est en plastique très robuste, même en cas de chute la brosse à dent ne se brisera pas)- Tête de brosse sans interstice qui pourraît favoriser la prolifération de bactéries- SilencieusePoints faibles :- Poids assez conséquent (certains aimeront, d'autres moins)- Pas de batterie à cause de la puissane du moteur -> nécessite une prise électrique
