ObagiMedical Nu-Derm Clear Fx Face Cream - Skin Lightening and Whitening Cream for Hyperpigmentation Treatment and Uneven Complexion – Dark Spot Corrector for All Skin Types

I used the old Obaji Clear with hydroquinone for years. It worked almost miraculously within 12 weeks to lighten every tiny spot and freckle on my skin. But after using it over a longer period of time, I noticed my skin was becoming more fragile. I was having broken capillaries appear, and I read that Clear could thin your skin out, as well as causing concerns about cancer. So I stopped using it and over time I wished I had something to replace it. Now Obaji Clear is made with ingredients that have all the benefits of the spot lightener hydroquinone, but without the side effects. The only drawback is that it takes longer to work. I fully expect to stay in this for the long haul, though, as I see a visible difference in my skin after just two months. Not as fast or as miraculous - so far - as the old Clear, but way good enough to keep going.UPDATE:It has been another 2 months of using Clear once a day, at night, under my moisturizer. I put the Clear on my freshly washed and thoroughly dried face, then let it sit for about 5 or 10 minutes, then apply my moisturizer. The improvement in my skin is obvious now, and I expect by the six-month-mark I will be very, very glad I stuck with it.UPDATE February 2019:Just checking back in with an almost-two-year report. I have used the Clear FX once a day before my night moisturizer for about eighteen months at this point. I am very happy with the long term results of use. I don't see any evidence that it does any harm to my skin, as the original with hydroquinone did after long use, and it has evened out my skin tone and faded everything that needed to fade out (freckles and discolorations and dark spots). I will continue to use this product as long as it is available because it works!

Loving this product, I have been using every 3rd night and am impressed with the result I’ve seen with the dark spots I had on my face. I’m sure if I used every night and day like recommended I would see faster results, but I noticed skin sloughing after the first 2 uses so I am fine with my frequency of use now. I love that after I apply Skin fx, I wait 3-5 mins and then go over it with Bioderma Atoderm as a night cream and my face wakes up feeling well moisturized, it’s almost like it pulls moisture into my skin, which I always need. If you’re on the fence about this and have acne scarring or dark spots you want gone, including this in your skincare cabinet is my biggest recommendation.

This is one of a kind amazing products have been using it decade ago when it first came out but since I’m on a budget. All I need is number three is so amazing like you get in Botox but be careful when you use this. I am very familiar with it so I can use it any time of the year but I highly recommended that you use in the winter time but did you use it now, it’s a must you have to put sunblock on and a hat do not let the sun touch your face because it will ruin everything and your face

As other reviews mention, it doesn't come in a box, there's yellowing making it appear old or expired with no expiration date, it doesn't list hydroquinone as an ingredient, it contains parabens and it's expensive. But, after 2 uses my freckles and age spots are noticeably lighter! It seems to really work well and quickly

I was looking forward Toni corporating this product into my skin care routine. Tonight would have been the first night. I was a little skeptical that it arrived wrapped in like cellophane vs an Obagi product box.. but didn’t give it my attention at that point 1-2 days ago.. but when I opened the top tonight, I could see this product is not an official Obagi product.. there is dirt and debris under the plastic top and Obagi would never sell a product like this. I absolutely will not put this on my skin and would recommend just buying from the Obagi website.
