Sent 4 back. Yes 4 because none of them would charge. I really want them to work. They seem very well built but can't use.

We’ve had almost a year and the battery hasn’t exploded! My mother wanted to get one for my kids for Christmas, but my husband is leery of cheep rechargeable scooters and hoverboards with crappy batteries but didn’t have time to research. I went for the hopefully trustable brand when I saw a good price, and my 5-6-7-8 year olds take it turns on it. It’s held up. Was a bit much for my 5 year old to handle until she Gee up a bit. Only complaint is the the plug cover (silicone flap) fell off early on. The color is a periwinkleish… blue with a influence of purple . A little girly but not overwhelmingly. Not all boys might like it, but mine don’t mind

We ordered two e8 ninebot scooters for our kids 7th and 9th birthdays. My son opened his only to find that it did not need to be activated like the instructions required and then would not run. This led us to believe he was sent a returned scooter that was not functional. He was extremely disappointed. When the replacement came, we had our daughter open hers early to ensure the same thing did not happen and they both worked, which was a relief! They do really love them now, and the speed is perfect for their ages! However, it was a bummer to have been sent a broken one, and made for a very disappointed 7 year old on his birthday.

I've been waiting to write a review for this until my 9yo tried it (it's the dead of winter here, lots of snow). She tried it for the first time today and loves it! When I unboxed it I was surprised and very impressed with the quality, it looks like the elite of scooters, it's very nice. We initially purchased a Razor but it was WAY too fast for her and had no throttle--it was all or nothing with the speed, and no way to control that whatsoever. So we searched and found this one because the speed can be controlled (my daughter is the very cautious type, a non-risk-taker).

Bought this scooter for my daughter’s 9th birthday and she loves it! It rides pretty smoothly and fast enough for a child. She also loves the blue colors on it. As others mentioned, it took us while to figure out we needed to activate the scooter to stop the beeping. We couldn’t find anything about it in the instruction booklet and eventually noticed a tag on the handle bar with instructions to activate!
