Great low priced lamp!
I was looking to replace an older table lamp on my bedroom chest of draws. This was exactly what I was looking for. Only 17" high to replace the old 18" high lamp. I attached the lamp to a touch pad dimmer across the room on my night stand. Works great with a 60 watt light bulb. At the low setting the perfect low light for watching TV. On high the lamp lights the whole room pretty well. For the low price you really can't go wrong with this item. The normal on/off switch is located on the power cord. With my set-up I am not using it. Also this lamp cannot be used with more than a 60 watt bulb. In my opinion this lamp looks like it cost more than what I paid.

the light hit both of us at annoying levels, this shorter lamp is better
Does what I need it to do. It's attractive, not very tall so make sure you understand the measurements. We have it in a tv area between chairs; the height of other lamps were too tall, the light hit both of us at annoying levels, this shorter lamp is better. The shade doesn't seem to stay in place; I'm always adjusting it. My son noticed it for the first time Saturday, wanted to know where I got it, he was checking it out. I like this lamp.

Fine for the price
Overall it looks good, but there are some fingerprints on the base that don't wash off with water or IPA (probably the assembler had glue on their hands). Stuck a 60W equivalent LED bulb in there and it works just fine. Given the price I'm happy.

great little lamp
great little lamp. put it on my piano. warm glow. I wish the switch was actually on the base but then it would be simply perfect. It is great.

Just what I needed
Nice little lamp. We have to walk across a dark family room to turn on a light. I needed a small lamp to set on top of a grand father clock, and plug into another light switch on the opposite side of the room. This lamp worked out great and lights up the whole room, and does not require a special bulb.

Very nice lamp, good price at $25. Wish it had a pull switch though!

Not bright enough
It looks very nice on my kitchen table. Still even w a 1600 Lumen 100 watt bulb, the shade prevents it from being a functional lamp.
