ClarksMen's Shacre Boot Ankle

I now have three pairs of this boot and love them all. My favorite surprisingly is the black suede. I put them on and they felt like I'd hade them for forever. There was no break in period, no getting used to the feel of them. They felt instantly like they'd been in my closet for forever.Lets be honest, they aren't the prettiest boot. They are kind of ugly. But, they are pretty versatile and look great with business casual at the office and more casual day wear.This portion of the review is specific to the black suede. The height of the sole means I'm not super concerned with getting them too wet and have been wearing them in the spring here in Alaska, so lots of mud and snow, and puddles and have seen not sign of water damage to them. So I'm not even thinking I'll waterproof them. May live to regret that, but we'll see.The black suede is deep and rich and is so soft to the touch. So far, I've been able to brush off any dirt or anything I've gotten on them.I ordered a 13 wide and it is a very spacious wide fit. I don't think you'll necessarily need to size down or anything, but if you run squarely between a wide and a regular width you might want to get a regular and see how those fit.I ordered several other colors and materials and these are the most comfortable right out of the box, the brown waxed had a break in period, the tan suede will also need a little breaking in time, and the black waxed I ordered were like a regular width when I ordered a wide width.

Easy to clean, Perfect size, very good Quality, thickness is 💯, waterproof although is suade, DURABLE!!!

My recent purchase the Clarks Men's Shacre Ankle Boot in Black Suede, size 11, and I am niceeeeee!!!!. P.S. Amazon sells excellent suede cleaners, one of which are already in my cart.Overall, I would highly recommend these boots for anyone looking for a blend of style and comfort. They are perfect for everyday wear and will quickly become a staple in my wardrobe.

I love these shoes, which fit well. They have great arch support. and they are durable and solid.

I've always heard about these Clarks shoes - more of the Wallaby model - but because the price was right, I bit. I have to say that OUT OF THE BOX these are the most comfortable shoes I've owned. There are no spots that rub that I have to get used to, the soles are naturally absorbant to impact so that there is support and cushioning, but it doesn't feel vague or unstable. Then there are the looks. I've heard others remark they are the most popular "ugly" shoes ever. I disagree - I think that they are handsome and look great in casual settings. Clarks - who made the original "chukka" boots - have a time tested method. They are the Ford F-150's of boots. Yes, there is a more "modern" insole - but I can't imagine it makes it more effective. I love these boots!

The size is pretty accurate, they feel comfortable and strong.

Perfect to size and very easy to clean! Got these for my husband and he wears them everyday and they’re very comfortable!
