Pleasantly surprised
I'm not usually crazy about small knives, but they have their uses and I felt the need to round out the collection, looking for something to keep the pace with my Esee Izula. After some research, I settled on this modest specimen, and I must say that I am quite impressed by my first blade from Masalong. The materials and fitment are very good for such a simple knife. The handle has ample room for a full four-finger grip and the chamfered scales are flush with the tang with no hot spots. The stock is stout, the factory edge is razor sharp with an even grind to the tip, and 9cr is considered one of the better Chinese alloys on par with the far more common Japanese AUS-8. The sheath has strong retention with no rattle, and the mini teklok clip is a nice feature, but this is a neck/deep carry knife, so I put the clip on the sheath of another knife that really needed it and looped a length of paracord through some of the many grommet holes instead. All in all, I find it to be a great value and will eventually get the clip point, too.

A small knife built for big hands
This knife has a lot going for it and is a very good value for the price. It stands out as being a small knife with a long and comfortable handle for larger hands. Most small knives end up being 3 finger handles for large hands, which kind of reduces your capacity to keep a solid grip or get good control without pinch gripping the blade. In this case, they've built it quite well to get a full grip and the finger choil for the index is quite deep and works great. The only quibble I have is that same choil has a bit too much protrusion between the index and middle finger that it can get a bit in the way of getting the 100% locked in grip. I imagine folks with extremely large hands will find this perfect. The steel tang also goes through that protrusion so you'll need a belt to grind it down if you want to modify the handle, so it's not a simple modification you can do with a diamond file by hand or anything.

It's made of good steel and the grip is comfortable in my hand.
This is my everyday carry knife and I love it.

High Quality Knife
The knife arrived today , it is very well made . It will shave dry hair off my arm ( barely ) , I am not the biggest fan of plastic type sheaths, but it does hold the knife securely at least for now . The knife fits my hand well , I moved the part that belt goes though to the other side and now the knife is against my side and it is well concealed .

Near perfect
Super sharp, comfortable in hand (big hands). Tight fit in sheaf. I wear it horizontally on belt. Good little knife for the price. Handle finishing could be better (8/10).

Great quality. Exceptional value.
This is a nice little EDC knife. Full tang, steel is decent, arrived sharp and has an excellent sheath with good snappy retention and a easy access belt clip. Handle is smooth yet grippy and has nice jimping. I have many high quality USA, Scandinavian, German, and Japanese knives. LT Wright, Boker, Benchmade, Spyderco, Mora, BarkRiver, ESEE, ZT, Tops etc. I recommend this for an EDC carry.

Nice knife, poor sheath
Good ergos, good dimensions for med/ med-lg hands, good fit and finish... knife is solid. The sheath sucks. I can usually adjust with a heat gun, but this one needs refitment.
