Great Day for Up (Bright & Early Books(R))

Best book for teaching children to read
Great Day for Up is a childhood treasure. Funny and engaging, it helps children recognize and memorize words. The rhymes are delightful, classic Dr. Seuss with a twist ending that leaves adults and children laughing. I taught my children and grandchild to read with this book. It is my go to gift for young children. The latest recipient is my 6 year old neighbor and youngest friend. She loves it.

Who doesn't like Dr. Seuss?!?
This was one of my son's favorite books when he was little and it was wonderful to be able to purchase it for his daughter. She loves Dr. Seuss rhymes.

So cute!
My son just turned 5 and has a lot of sight words. His current favorite word is the word up. He looks for it in every single book. So when I saw this I knew I had to buy it for him. We read it almost every night and he absolutely loves it.

short but good
This art is unique. Also usually the author is Theo LeSeig when there is a different illustrator, but not for this one (feels special)

18 month old loves
My 18 month old loves all the Bright and Early books. She never loses focus when reading this and likes the pictures which are from a different artist than Dr. Seuss.

Gret book for learning
My son loves this book. No bad connotations, nothing to worry in regards to mixed or outdated messaging. Great book with good vocabulary for a learning reader (1st or 2nd grade for the most part).
