Simple, Fun Case
This case is easy to set up with their guide and it really adds another layer to your Raspberry Pi if you are creating an emulator machine. I like that this case has a shut off button and still sports that classic PS1 design while still remaining slim. If you need great looking case with fairly good functionality, this is the one.

Great product
Pros: great product to make a Raspberry Pi 4 look nice on a shelf. I've used this with my HomeAssistant install. Install was easy enough. Network port available via the removable left cover is acceptable.Cons: runs warm (109F/42C) when the faux CD cover is closed. This is with the heat sinks and fan properly installed. Opening the faux CD cover causes it to run at a more acceptable temp (98F/37C).

Attention to details are great!
The attention to detail on all of RetroFlag's products are amazing. Clever SD card storage, nastolgic looks, and modern functionality and at a reasonable price. The slotted screws that hold on the screen are sized to be able to use a coin, a convenient, call-back feature of the era. The forethought to include an indent at the bottom of the case to be able to access the SD card externally, very nice. The visually-integrated removable port cover retains access to the additional USB and ethernet ports, appreciated. And the tight tolerances and generous thickness throughout the case give this a very premium feel. I have purchased just about every case they have to offer. I'm a very pleased customer!

Thank you so much Retroflag!!!!!
I've been waiting a long time for a PS1 case for Raspberry Pi. This one totally delivers!!!!!I love the build quality, it feels like a real quality gaming console.Specifically, I want to talk about the buttons, those are even better than the official PS Classic by Sony!If you've used an original PlayStation and also the PS Classic which is the mini version from 2018, you will have noticed that the power button and open button are very different. This case by Retroflag has much more accurate buttons to the original PlayStation because Power has an on/off button with a springy feel, where the PS Classic is just a little hard button. Same for Open. Hard button on the PS Classic, but an actual mechanical button on the RetroFlag case that can open the lid! The Reset button is good on both the Classic and Retroflag case though. If I must have a complaint, Im not so sure the ventilation is placed well where the disc lid goes, but I haven't had any problems yet. I'll see if I can put the fan elsewhere like on the sides because there's ventilation there too, but not sure about space. I would have preferred a slightly bigger case, like the Pi4 NES case which is bigger, that way there would be better vents. Also, maybe that way they would be able to make more accurate proportions for the physical dimensions of this case! It's currently a bit taller than it should be, so making it bigger in other directions could avoid making it taller. If there was need for a Pi5 update of the case, I hope they do that! However it is really a minor thing, this thing is great as it is now!All I'm hoping for now are USB controllers that match the port (like the PS Classic) and are Dualshock!

Overclock won’t work
Nice concept . Screen . BuiltOverclock wont work. I emailed retroflag and the answer was : no overclock supprt due to voltage and wires not able to support this feature. So I’m stuck on stock 1500mhz for my pi 4 8GB

The best RPI4 case around?
Anyone who has dealt with Retropie based gaming setups in recent years must be familiar with Retroflag by now. They do amazing work in creating miniature console cases that closely resemble the official efforts released by Nintendo, Sega, and now Sony.I have owned an NES inspired case from them for my RPI3, and I can certainly say their products are of great quality. The PlayStation inspired case is a little bit off scale from the official PlayStation mini console we received, but it doesn’t lack attention to detail. The inclusion of the screen is great as well, and absolutely takes me back to the days of playing my friends PSOne on his attached screen when his TV wasn’t working. At such a small size it isn’t likely to have any real day-to-day purpose outside of converting the mini HDMI port to a full sized one, but the novelty is there just. I do wish the case was inspired by the slimmer PSOne system instead of the original model, but that’s just personal preference.

Fantastic case for you PI 4 if you like retro games
I think this is the best PI 4 case if you are a Retro gamer fan. Looks great.Things I really like about it:Easy to install hardware/setupScreen looks great, no special drivers needed for Linux. Has volume and brightness control on front of screenFit and finish is very goodCan mount fan in fake CD tray(internally). Also can you use tray for SD card storage.

The scripts don't work anymore
I bought this case after having a great experience with the retroflag cases in the past. However none of their safe shutdown scripts work anymore not with RetroPie, recalbox, lakka, or Batocera. Making this just an overpriced case. I'll be going with argon or someone else in the future.

Excellent, but missing a cooling fan and other accessories
Overall, I love this little PiStation. It's great for portability as a stand-alone mini game system, but it can also be plugged into a TV for a full game system. The PiStation was extremely easy to put together (the hardest part was finding a RPI4 because they are sold out everywhere!). The tiny 4.3" screen is crisp and clean, which really surprised me - very nice quality and viewing angles. My only disappointment is that Retroflag could have shipped the fan and power supply with this unit. There is another seller who is including a fan and heat sinks, but unfortunately it was extra money + import fees, and this particular unit was a next day shipping and I wanted it quickly. So I had to pay an extra $10 for a fan and heat sinks from another seller, which should arrive sometime today. Regardless of the lack of accessories, I believe this is an excellent value as a portable gaming device - you can even power it with a portable charging brick and take it anywhere. Highly recommended for the price, just wish it included the fan, heat sinks, and power cable.
