A contractor working on our addition introduced me to this product. I used it to freshen up our cabinets with really impressive results. I tried to take off the wax with microfiber cloths & was disappointed. I switched to terry cloth & saw an immediate improvement. Plan on taking some time & effort with this product, but the results speak for themselves.

I used this with the clear because I was afraid it would be too dark and it worked well

It works well as a wax but did not have any darkening effect. I applied it in July and now in September I can still feel the wax on the wood rubbing my thumb across it. I was hopeful that "dark" wax would reduce the eyesore of lighter colored wood where food was spilled, dried and bleached the stain out of the hardwood.Due to a few of the reviews I ordered this to darken my cabinet doors. It might darken something like natural maple but had no effect whatsoever on the color of previously stained hardwood.
