Succinct and To the Point
I bought this book recently because I was trying to reconnect to the Law of Attraction. Years ago, after seeing The Secret, I had spent months working with LOA and found it amazingly effective. I saw it working in my life. After a series of bad choices and normal life events (Life still happens even while working with LOA) I became discouraged and gave it up. Recently, after learning some heavy health news and finding myself struggling financially I started asking myself, is there where I want to be? Is there more? So I began my search for something that would help me restart my LOA journey. This book was just that. It is a simple, concise book that succinctly places LOA in easy to understand terms. There are a few grammatical mistakes that took me out of the reading for a moment, but I did not buy this book for it's quality of writing. I bought it to help guide me back to a place where I felt empowered in my life. And this book did just that. And for that I am incredibly grateful. This book is great for beginners or people who feel they have lost their way on the LOA road and need a clear path back. Thanks for writing this book!

This works
I'm 76. I became interested in mental phenomena when I was 13 and suffering from ADD. ADD didn't exist in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders back then, but I knew something was wrong. I subscribed to Popular Mechanics and Popular Science and was attracted to the various sciences. An article in one of those magazines described mental practices of Eastern religions and the unusual effects their practitioners could exhibit. I tried one of the techniques described and over the next several months my life changed. I weighed 89 lbs. My neck was so skinny my mother wondered how it could hold my head up. I was sickly and stayed in bed most of the day. I couldn't understand my schoolwork and was failing. After practicing this technique, I developed an eidetic memory, got great grades without much study, participated in the Science Fair, Soapbox Derby, and sports, and eventually grew to be 180 lbs. of solid muscle from weight lifting, surfing, and other activities. I had girl friends, went to parties, and had a life that scrawny kid of 13 could never have imagined. I didn't "try" to obtain these things. They simply happened. I was "led" from one thing to another. Opportunities "popped up" from nowhere. I accepted them as a normal part of growing up, but it wasn't normal. My few nerd friends never had them. That experience prompted me to dig deeper. I read all of Erickson's abstracts in college and studied the Akashic Records and other religious systems. I read Emerson, Atkinson, and everyone I could get my hands on. I studied quantum mechanics as far as I could take it over two years. I have books on consciousness and the mind that are over 140 years old. I stopped playing in this game while in the military. When I was discharged, I had nothing - a useless degree in Psychology, no job skills, no anything. I went back to the meditation techniques I learned in high school and my life changed again. I developed my own version of this book, one that worked specifically for me. There are some core elements to this book that I believe form the basis for all systems that purport to produce the effects of the Laws of Attraction. I disagree with the spiritual aspects. My system is mechanical: you do this, you get that. But they are similar enough that this book works. My studies in quantum mechanics only bolstered my confidence in the system. Whether you believe in the Copenhagen Interpretation or the many-worlds interpretation, or some superpositional entity outside of space/time that governs existence, this system works. It is EXTREMELY important to stop believing in things you CAN'T do. Read that again - and again. Belief is a killer. There are other aspects of this book that I support. I started with nothing in 1978 except for these concepts. I retired in 1986 and again in 1990 when a business I started as a hobby developed into a national company - totally free of any financial problems. I have no special abilities. I have no special education. I had no special training. I'm just a guy, but a guy who understands how this works and used my version of it. I don't do this anymore. I've wondered why and I think I have some limiting function that makes it unnecessary. There is nothing I want that I don't have except for one thing: my kids don't understand these concepts and have not interest in learning them. Too bad. The one thing I could never do with these concepts was to influence people directly. I have a theory about that, but enough for now. Why are you reading this? Think about it.

Good and insightful sharing
This book explains a bit about the psychology that we should be aware of in trying to attract the objects of our desire. some of the content copied the secret but some others are good and beneficial. For example, the author asks us to be aware of our grasping the object since it may indicate our belief of not having it. With grasping, the author warns that we can be even further wfrom what we want. In my experience, the author knows what he is talking about here, Yes, this is important.fleeting desire is also not recommended, again I feel that the author knows thsi from personal experience.i find myself nodding my head quite a few times. Readers will be well advised to read this book slowly.I do not give it higher than 3 because I think this book is a supplement rather than giving a completely new perspective on the Law of Attraction, but I would recommend people to buy and read this

This is NOT a good first book to read on the subject
Deceptively small and simple, this is the book that actually really helped me "snap" into Law of Attraction thinking,I remember many years ago when I though this was all a bunch of BS. Nah. But it is many paradigms above what most people are capable of understanding. This is NOT a good first book to read on the subject, but it is THE BEST summary of it.Law of Attraction is not just "wishful thinking", it is a MINDSET that empowers you to get what you deserve. The beauty of it all is that if you don't think you deserve it, you do not deserve it, and Law of Attraction will not work to help you get it... It is a universal "check and balance", just another one of those things in life that makes you go "huh, wow" at the universe in amazement.Once you realize that there is no such thing as "hard" and "soft" aka matter is all just vibrations... It becomes inherently clear that paradigms like the Law of Attraction CANNOT POSSIBLY BE WRONG. It is a COMPLETELY RATIONAL train of thought. Any of you conspiracy theorists out there have been though this change in mentality. This book helped me "get it", so for that purpose I highly recommend it.
