Exactly what I wanted for sketching with the Pencil 2
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for iPad mini 6 (2021) + Apple Pencil 2 users who want to sketch and draw.I have never owned a screen protector like this with the textured surface, so I don't know how it compares to other paper-like screen protectors. However, I really like this one for sketching and drawing.Previously, I *hated* using the pencil to draw on the iPad because the glass screen was so slippery that I felt I had no control and that my drawings had random spots I didn't like. The screen protector has turned me into a sketching addict! Turn on grid/lines in iPad notes and this is better than having a pocketable paper notebook. Today, I drew a sketch I really think may be one of my all time favorites... while standing waiting on my food to microwave.Having a sketchy-rough surface on this super light, easy to take with me device is a dream. The surface is just rough enough that typing with your fingertips for a long time will get a bit raw feeling - it's like an etched glass texture almost.ANTI-GLARE --- I also love to spend time outdoors and I was worried this would make the screen unusable. Shockingly, it actually delivers on the anti-glare. I think it is easier to see because there's no glare (although there is a frosted/matte LCD effect so it isn't perfect in full sun). I was pleasantly surprised.MICROFIBER RENEWS IT --- It does show little marks from the pencil if you draw hard, and picks up little streaks here and there. You just wipe it with a microfiber (dry works for me) and it comes right back like new and clean.INSTALLATION --- I was able to install it the first time, 99% perfectly centered with no bubbles or dust following the easy instructions (I used the install in bathroom trick they suggest)

One of the better paper like anti glare screen protectors I’ve had
I primarily use my iPad mini to read and I like to be able to read outside which is why I like anti glare screen protectors. It’s an added bonus that it improves use of Apple Pencil. I like this protector because the sparkle effect that all anti glares have (at least in my experience) is at a minimum so it’s not distracting. Over the years I’ve tried at least 6 different brands at various price points for anti glare and this is one of the better ones with the sparkle effect. The texture is perfect for me because I don’t mind how it feels on my hands.

Seems like a pretty good screen protector
These are pretty good considering the price.PROS:• Install is pretty easy if you use the positioning stickers like it says to in the instructions. It includes everything you need to prep and install, but a frame would be a cool addition.• Reduces glare• Somewhat feels like paper, albeit more of a "toothy" paper.CONS:• There is some chromatic aberration. It's not so bad that you can't read fine print but it does degrade the resolution of the screen. This is similar to another matte screen protector I have on another iPad.• The feel when using an Apple Pencil on this is more like dragging an eraser on paper than writing on paper. It is more grippy than my other screen protector. These are just my initial impressions. If this changes over time, I will revise my review. I have a feeling this might wear down my nib on the Apple Pencil. I also don't know how this compares to "Paperlike" screen protectors, but I just cant justify the crazy price they get for those.*Note - Unless you install this in a clean room setting, you can still expect to get lint or dust specs under the screen protector. I turned off the air and fan, washed my hands, cleaned my desk space, followed all the directions, cleaned the screen with both alcohol wipes and microfiber cloth, and used the sticky tape to remove any particles that remained. I still ended up with a spec dead center of the screen. Otherwise this was a perfect install.

Pretty good and a budget alternative to Paperlike
I put this protector on my IPad Mini 5 and it works pretty decently with my Yoyomax Stylushttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F7VGZ68?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_detailsPROS-Very easy to write on the stylus and on the finger. When I try writing it without the screen, it was very difficult to write. After putting it on, it does a decent job at imitating my own handwriting.-No Glare what-so-everCONS-Depending on what IPad Mini you have the buttons may not fit perfectly. It almost fits perfectly for the home button but it didn't exactly fit for the front camera. Personally, that is not a huge issue since I don't use the front camera-Installing can be pretty tedious. If you're pretty bad at reading instructions or follow tutorials, have someone else do it. I read the manual pretty carefully and was able to fully install it without issue.

Like scrolling your fingers through sandpaper
I bought this simply because I prefer the look of a matte screen. I don't plan to use my Apple pencil for my Mini 6, because I also have an iPad Pro 12.9. The latter tablet has a Paperlike screen protector, I thought I'd save money and get this one for my Mini.Something that I've noticed about this PaperFEEL protector is that the surface feels like extremely low-grit sandpaper. I feel like too much scrolling with it on might be rough on my fingertips; I can also see how this item might wear out an Apple pencil tip fast. The PaperLIKE protector I have on my iPad Pro is smooth scrolling, I never noticed any roughness. For now, I'm going to keep this protector on my Mini, unless it really becomes intolerable.
