Brings Out The "Creative Kid" In Every Adult Rock/Metal Fan!
Being a rock & metal fan, I bought this book for myself out of sheer curiousity. It's basically an activity book for adults that includes everything from coloring to drawing, word searches, crosswords, mazes and so forth. I must say, I DID have a lot of fun with it! It has all the fun stuff in the activity books we used to do as kids, but the activities in this book are all related to rock & heavy metal bands/musicians. So if you're not a fan of this music, you won't really "get the joke" behind most of the activities in this... But if you ARE a fan of rock and/or heavy metal, you'll probably LOVE this!I AM more of a fan of rock/classic rock, but do like some heavy metal as well. There WERE some activities related to a small few of heavy metal bands I've never heard of in this activity book, but it was no big deal (at least not to me). They were still fun to do!My dad is also a rock & roll fan and I ended up buying another one of these activity books as a stocking stuffer for him last Christmas. :)Whether you want to test your trivia by doing a "Hair Metal" crossword puzzle or give your art skills a try by drawing Iron Maiden's character, "Eddie," there's SOMETHING in this activity book for every rock/metal fan!It also contains several pages just for coloring, such as a page to color Judas Priest and "old" & "current" Metallica, plus many others (i.e., Glen Danzig, etc).Remember those activities where you had to find the two designs that matched EXACTLY? Those are also available - only you have to find the two matching BAND logos instead (such as Slayer or Van Halen logos that match EXACTLY!) It was much more challenging than I had expected - LOL.Another activity you'll find is how many words you can make out of the name of a band... (I was surprised that I was actually able to make more than 30 words out of the letters from "White Zombie" - LOL). Mazes are included also - can you help Spinal Tap through the backstage area without getting lost? I couldn't! LOL. But I WAS able to correctly complete the maze to help Ozzy get to Ozzfest! There's even a "Metal Libs" (instead of "Mad Libs").Guns N' Roses, Motorhead, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Yngwie Malmsteen, Tool, Corrosion of Comformity, Pantera, Kiss, Neurosis, Sepultura, Danzig, Led Zeppelin, Anthrax, Slipknot, AC/DC and GWAR are just a handful of other rock/metal bands you'll find in this activity book to color, connect the dots to help figure out who they are, unscramble their song titles, do trivia crosswords, etc. And when it comes to the activities, if you DO get real stumped (and, for example, just can't figure out a certain crossword), the majority of the answers are provided for you near the back of the book. (Of course there's no answers available for pages that are just for coloring, or for dot-to-dot exercises, or for the metal version of "Mad Libs" as that's open to self-interpretation, obviously).I apologize for the long review! I didn't want to give too much away, but I DID just want to provide everyone with a little bit more detailed info on the types of activities this book includes, as well as examples of the bands that are in it so you have a better idea on whether or not this is truly for you (or a friend you have in mind!)I agree with the majority of everyone else who reviewed this activity book. It simply provides some rare & unique fun for the "rock & roller" or "metal-head!" I definitely recommend it to any & all rock/metal fans AND their friends!! \m/

Nice book, may need a quick adult browse if giving to a younger teen/preteen; subjective to parents
Cool little activities book... maybe moreso for a teenager and up because there are some references to more adult things (not sexual), and much is a broad spectrum of metal history, bands, etc. We have a kiddo with a huge rock/metal love so we have to help her a little as well as review a few things above her head at preteen age. She loves it, though and she is big into craft/art stuff so it combined a couple of her favorite things.

Perfect for my metal man child <3
My boyfriend is a metal head, and he absolutely loved this. Every other page had him giggling, I bought him this for our 4 hour plane ride, and just like any kid a activity book will keep him busy lol.

Much-Loved Gift for a Heavy Metal Friend (and now I want one too!)
I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend (34 year old female), she loves KMFDM, Gwar, and any metal music in general.I flipped through the book ahead of time. There is a Sudoku puzzle with just the numbers 6, 6, and 6. There is a connect-the-dots page of Dimebag Darryl (of Pantera). There are mazes, logo match-ups, and 'find the difference' pages as well as many artists/bands to color. Gwar is in here too.My friend loved this gift. She immediately started taking pictures and sending them to friends, encouraging them to buy this coloring book too because it "is awesome" and "hilarious" (her words). I'm not even a metal fan and even I wanted this for myself.I highly recommend this activity/coloring book.

Great buy! Just get it! You won’t be sorry!
My boyfriend is very much a hard core heavy metal fan and loved this book because it actually had people in it that were categorized as heavy metal to him. Like Danzig, pantera ,spinal tap( you get to help them through amaze of their back stage area...) and many more. It’s a nice (almost comical in a way) activity book.

So fun
This is amazing! Want to get one for all my friends(already ordered one more) only complaint is paper is a little thin so ink on one side shows through. But so many of my fave bands are in here somehow. My favorite was the hairmetal crossword puzzle.

Cool themed pressie
Lots of fun for a themed activity book and colouring-in is bang on trend to deal with stress release so my bro really thought it was cool! The paper is thin though so not so heavy-duty felts can be used on it as it bleeds to the other side but if you're using bog standard children's felts you'll be fine - keep those Sharpies away though!Came quickly but rated it one star down because the packaging meant the postie could bend it to fit through the letterbox but then I ended up with a curled copy :( not so bad though and beats going to the delivery office for pick up!
